《圍城》是錢鐘書先生創(chuàng)作的唯一的一部長篇小說,在現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史上享有盛譽,被稱為“中國近代文學(xué)史上最有趣和最用心經(jīng)營的小說”。《圍城》風(fēng)靡海內(nèi)外,贏得無數(shù)讀者的重要原因之一,便是其詼諧幽默的語言風(fēng)格。縱觀以往評學(xué)家們對《圍城》中幽默的研究,概括起來主要是從以下幾個視角:如探討作品如何運用比喻制造幽默;如何運用漫畫式手法描寫人物制造幽默;如何運用典故制造幽默;以及運用不相關(guān)的比較來制造幽默等。但從“語言偏離”視角研究《圍城》的幽默風(fēng)格卻頗為少見,本文擬以Geoffrey N. Leech的“偏離觀”為研究理論基礎(chǔ)和支撐,在繼承和發(fā)展Geoffrey N. Leech的“偏離觀”的基礎(chǔ)上研究《圍城》中的幽默現(xiàn)象,旨在揭示該小說中幽默的制笑機制,進(jìn)而探索其幽默背后所表達(dá)的深層思想。Geoffrey N. Leech認(rèn)為語言偏離可出現(xiàn)在語言系統(tǒng)中的八個層面,如詞匯偏離,語法偏離,語音偏離,字形偏離,語義偏離,語域偏離,語體偏離,偏離歷史時期等。本文運用定性研究法,從語言系統(tǒng)的八個層面對《圍城》中的幽默語言實例進(jìn)行了較為詳盡和深刻的探析,同時詳細(xì)分析了偏離現(xiàn)象在不同語言層面上的表現(xiàn)形式和具體實現(xiàn)方法...
