在其著作《語(yǔ)用學(xué)新解》中,維索爾倫提出了順應(yīng)論,從語(yǔ)境關(guān)系順應(yīng)、語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)、順應(yīng)的動(dòng)態(tài)性和順應(yīng)的意識(shí)程度四個(gè)方面對(duì)語(yǔ)言的使用進(jìn)行了闡釋。維索爾倫認(rèn)為語(yǔ)言使用者根據(jù)交際語(yǔ)境的需要,不斷選擇語(yǔ)言手段,以達(dá)到交際目的。順應(yīng)論的創(chuàng)立不僅豐富了語(yǔ)用學(xué)的理論框架,也為翻譯研究提供了新的視角。順應(yīng)論強(qiáng)調(diào)語(yǔ)言選擇與交際環(huán)境、交際對(duì)象以及交際目的的一致性,翻譯作為一種跨文化的語(yǔ)言使用過(guò)程同樣要遵守上述原則。作為兒童文學(xué)的經(jīng)典之作,《愛(ài)麗絲鏡中奇遇記》的譯本分析具有代表意義,對(duì)兒童文學(xué)的翻譯研究具有指導(dǎo)作用。順應(yīng)論表明,一個(gè)成功的譯作,往往就是譯者在面對(duì)多種選擇的前提下,明確翻譯目的,判斷順應(yīng)的層面,并選擇相應(yīng)的策略技巧,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)翻譯目的,完成交際任務(wù)。趙元任先生譯著的成功之處在于充分利用了雙關(guān)、押韻、擬聲等修辭手法,從語(yǔ)境關(guān)系順應(yīng)、語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)等層面做出了動(dòng)態(tài)順應(yīng)。本文探討了翻譯活動(dòng)與順應(yīng)之間的關(guān)系,通過(guò)兩個(gè)譯本的對(duì)比分析,表明順應(yīng)論對(duì)兒童文學(xué)翻譯具有很強(qiáng)的適用性。
