【摘要】：隨著對翻譯研究的不斷深化和完善,人們認(rèn)識到翻譯不只是語言符號之間的轉(zhuǎn)換,更是文化之間的交流。翻譯不僅僅要達(dá)到語法的正確,語言的精準(zhǔn),還要肩負(fù)文化交流的重任。中國經(jīng)典文學(xué)包含了中國的傳統(tǒng)思想以及經(jīng)典文化,豐富的文化負(fù)載詞匯蘊(yùn)藏其中,對這類詞的正確翻譯在新的歷史時期有著重要的理論和現(xiàn)實意義。本論文對目的論翻譯的理論來源、基本理論、積極意義及其主要特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了分析,并著重通過分析余國藩(Anthony C.Yu)的英譯本《聊齋志異》并對其在翻譯實踐中的實用價值和合理性進(jìn)行了探討�！读凝S志異》是中國清代著名小說家蒲松齡創(chuàng)作的文言短篇小說集。蒲松齡的文言小說《聊齋志異》中出現(xiàn)了大量的文化負(fù)載詞語,這些文化負(fù)載詞語最直接地反映了中國文化的個性特征。但是,它們卻給跨文化交流及漢英翻譯造成了障礙.因此,探討這些宗教文化負(fù)載詞語及其翻譯有著重要的現(xiàn)實意義.譯者將大量具有中國文化特色的俗語、諺語、名言警句、詩歌翻譯成英語。本文并試圖以翻譯目的論作為理論框架,依據(jù)Newmark對文化的分類,從生態(tài)、物質(zhì)、宗教和其他四個文化系統(tǒng)選取《聊齋志異》中部分文化負(fù)載詞及Anthony C.Yu英譯本的翻譯,運(yùn)用統(tǒng)計結(jié)合描述的方法,一方面觀察譯者的總體翻譯策略,另一方面另一方面試圖揭示譯者選擇翻譯策略背后的原因,為中國經(jīng)典文學(xué)英譯中文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯提供新的視角。為了把中國文化介紹到國外去,滿足西方讀者的審美期待,在處理文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯時,譯者應(yīng)主要采用翻譯策略中的異化翻譯法,即采用直譯、直譯加注釋、音譯、音譯加注釋、詩詞全譯等方法將文化的特色內(nèi)涵原汁原味的傳遞出去。
