【摘要】：稱謂語是人際交往的重要部分和人際關(guān)系的重要信號。稱謂語不僅是一個人身份的標(biāo)示，也是一種獨(dú)特的文化標(biāo)示，與文化有著密切的關(guān)系。社會文化影響著稱謂語的形成、選擇和應(yīng)用。因此對稱謂語的文化背景的研究有利于實(shí)現(xiàn)稱謂語的恰當(dāng)使用，進(jìn)而更好地促進(jìn)跨文化交際。 在本研究過程中，為了更好的讓使用者理解和運(yùn)用漢英語言中的稱謂語，筆者從稱謂語的文化內(nèi)涵入手，以文化圖式理論為主要理論框架對漢英稱謂語的背后文化圖式進(jìn)行研究，試圖闡述漢英文化差異是如何影響兩種稱謂的表達(dá)使用的，進(jìn)而探究漢英稱謂語的主要文化差異以及文化圖式理論怎樣能夠更好的闡釋漢英稱謂語的文化差異。 通過閱讀大量關(guān)于稱謂語研究的專著、期刊等文獻(xiàn)，在綜合分析前人對漢英稱謂語的研究成果的基礎(chǔ)之上，采用前人親屬稱謂語和社會稱謂語的分類方式，從歷史文化、社會制度、家庭和血緣觀念以及等級和地位文化四個層面分析漢英稱謂語差異及其背后的文化圖式差異及對應(yīng)情況。 本研究顯示，漢英社會文化因素的四個方面：歷史文化、社會制度、家庭和血緣觀念以及等級和地位文化極大地影響了兩種語言中的稱謂語系統(tǒng)。而從文化圖式的角度看，這種差異主要是由于以上四個方面的社會文化因素的文化圖式對應(yīng)出現(xiàn)缺失、相反造成的。這表明上述社會文化因素的文化圖式對應(yīng)對理解和掌握稱謂語文化差異中的重要意義，，并且總結(jié)出只有當(dāng)它們的文化圖式在兩種語言文化中對應(yīng)相對較好、使用者對兩種文化圖式掌握水平較高時，跨文化交際中稱謂語的使用才有可能實(shí)現(xiàn)語言層面和文化層面的準(zhǔn)確交流，從而順利實(shí)現(xiàn)跨文化交流的目的，當(dāng)漢英稱謂語的文化圖式對應(yīng)出現(xiàn)缺失或者相反時，使用者要做好對兩種文化圖式的理解和轉(zhuǎn)換，避免或減少文化誤差帶來的稱謂語使用不當(dāng)。
