元話語是話語的有機(jī)組成部分,幫助作者組織語篇、并引導(dǎo)讀者理解語篇。同時(shí),元話語協(xié)助作者與讀者協(xié)商、互動(dòng),使讀者充分參與語篇的解讀。近年來,元話語研究日漸引起語言學(xué)者、教師和使用者的關(guān)注,尤其是元話語在學(xué)術(shù)論文中的應(yīng)用研究。國內(nèi)外學(xué)者對元話語進(jìn)行了一些實(shí)證研究,聚焦于不同學(xué)科學(xué)術(shù)論文中的元話語使用情況,或不同母語背景下英語學(xué)術(shù)論文中元話語手段的使用。而元話語在不同語言中,例如英語和漢語中應(yīng)用的比較研究還不多見。 石油學(xué)術(shù)論文長期以來都未受到語言研究者的重視,迄今尚無專門針對石油學(xué)術(shù)論文的系統(tǒng)研究。有鑒于其對石油領(lǐng)域的重要作用及本文作者所在大學(xué)特色,作者以石油學(xué)術(shù)論文為對象進(jìn)行研究。摘要是學(xué)術(shù)論文本身的高度概括,其重要性不言而喻。因此,本文作者以此類論文摘要為具體研究對象,對比研究英語為母語的學(xué)者和以漢語為母語的學(xué)者英、漢摘要中元話語使用的情況,旨在發(fā)現(xiàn)中英石油學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要中元話語使用的異同,分析導(dǎo)致差異的原因,并總結(jié)元話語分布規(guī)律,為我國石油學(xué)術(shù)工作者及其他領(lǐng)域?qū)W者的學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要撰寫提供一些有意義的參考。 本研究選取國內(nèi)外石油領(lǐng)域六本權(quán)威雜志的180篇文章摘要分別建立英語論文摘要語料庫(...
