反義關系作為一種復雜的縱聚合關系,歷來受到語言學家、邏輯學家和心理學家的關注,其在語言學上的研究表現為對反義詞的研究,因此,形容詞性反義詞成為近年來語言學界研究的熱點話題。經過研究,語言學家在形容詞性反義詞的定義、分類及其基本特征,即形容詞性反義詞的層級性和互補性上基本達成了共識。但傳統(tǒng)的語義學對形容詞性反義詞的程度和量級研究只是通過程度副詞來體現,而程度副詞只是對形容詞的程度進行了粗略的劃分,并不能準確表達出形容詞性反義詞本身所蘊含的程度和量級。二十世紀八十年代,西方語言學家(Cresswell1976,Von Stechow 1984,Kennedy 1999,Kennedy&McNally2005,Morzycki2015)掀起了對程度和量級研究的熱潮,從而形成了程度語義學理論。程度語義學引入“程度”這一要素,用“程度”來表達等級性,用三元結構“量級”來測量抽象的程度表達。其中三元結構“量級”由程度、偏序關系(用≤表示)和一定的維度(如高度、深度、重量)組成。程度語義學能夠準確地刻畫出形容詞性反義詞的等級性,通過對形容詞的程度分布來研究其量級結構,進而促進對語義的研究。程...
