【摘要】：伴隨著全球化進程的加快,今天的國際社會正呈現(xiàn)出前所未有的和諧與繁榮。作為社會發(fā)展的必然趨勢,全球化影響著社會生活的各個方面,而其對文化的影響無疑是最鮮明、最深刻的。在這樣的大環(huán)境下,“和平崛起”的中國與世界各國的文化交往日益密切。因此,如何在跨文化交際時提升我國的文化地位成為翻譯工作者們需要解決的一項課題。 歸化和異化是文化翻譯的兩種常用策略,在國內(nèi)外引起了廣泛討論�？偟膩碚f,歸化是一種靠近目標語文化習(xí)慣的,流暢易懂的翻譯策略,異化則是一種有意保留源語言文化特色,從而打破目標語慣用語言習(xí)慣的翻譯策略。然而,在翻譯過程中,譯者對于歸化和異化的選擇并不是隨意的,而是要受限于一定的條件和規(guī)則。本文將從權(quán)力話語理論的角度探討對中文文化負載詞翻譯的策略,并旨在證明異化是一種更優(yōu)化的選擇。 權(quán)力話語理論由法國哲學(xué)家�？伦钤缣岢�,后被廣泛應(yīng)用于各個學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域。�？抡J為,權(quán)力是各種社會因素綜合產(chǎn)生的“合力”,控制著社會成員的活動。話語在狹義上即是語言,在廣義上則反映著某種文化的方方面面。權(quán)力決定話語,話語反作用于權(quán)力,權(quán)力與話語不可分割。 對中文文化負載詞翻譯而言,翻譯策略的選擇不僅僅關(guān)系著翻譯質(zhì)量的高低,更關(guān)系著對我國文化的保留和對權(quán)力的提升。因此,本文運用權(quán)力話語理論,對中文文化負載詞翻譯的策略選擇進行了進一步分析,從語言和文化的雙重角度討論了對歸化異化的選擇。作者指出,異化策略能夠更成功地保存文化特色,提高文化地位,從而提升我國的權(quán)力和話語。另外,異化策略本身對文化負載詞翻譯不無裨益。最后,作者運用實例,介紹了實現(xiàn)異化策略的幾種常用方法。
[Abstract]:With the acceleration of globalization, today's international community is showing unprecedented harmony and prosperity. As the inevitable trend of social development, globalization affects all aspects of social life, and its impact on culture is undoubtedly the most distinct and profound. In such an environment, the cultural exchanges between China and other countries in the world are getting closer and closer. Therefore, how to improve the cultural status of our country in cross-cultural communication has become a problem that translators need to solve. Domestication and foreignization are two common strategies of cultural translation, which have been widely discussed at home and abroad. Generally speaking, domestication is a fluent and easy to understand translation strategy close to the cultural habits of the target language, while foreignization is a translation strategy that deliberately preserves the cultural characteristics of the source language and thus breaks the idiomatic language habits of the target language. However, in the process of translation, the translator's choice of domestication and foreignization is not random, but limited to certain conditions and rules. This paper discusses the translation strategy of Chinese culture-loaded words from the perspective of power discourse theory, and aims to prove that foreignization is a more optimal choice. The theory of power discourse was first put forward by French philosopher Foucault and has been widely used in various academic fields. Foucault believes that power is a joint force of various social factors, which controls the activities of social members. Discourse is language in a narrow sense and reflects all aspects of a culture in a broad sense. Power determines discourse, discourse counteracts on power, power and discourse are inseparable. As far as the translation of Chinese culture-loaded words is concerned, the choice of translation strategies is not only related to the quality of translation, but also to the preservation of Chinese culture and the promotion of power. Therefore, based on the theory of power discourse, this paper further analyzes the strategy choice of Chinese culture-loaded word translation, and discusses the choice of domestication foreignization from the dual point of view of language and culture. The author points out that alienation strategy can more successfully preserve cultural characteristics and improve cultural status, so as to enhance the power and discourse of our country. In addition, foreignization strategy itself is beneficial to the translation of culture-loaded words. Finally, the author introduces several common methods to realize alienation strategy by using examples.
