翻譯主體間倫理視角下的《沉沒之魚》譯寫個案研究
[Abstract]:Amy Tan is a popular Chinese-American female writer. Most of her works are best-selling and are widely translated into many languages. Her novel, Saving Fish from Drowning (, has hit the New York Times bestseller list since it was published in 2005. The Chinese version of the book, the sunken Fish, met with Chinese readers in the form of Translation and Writing in 2006. The Chinese translation includes many deletions, additions, rewriting and rewriting as well as stylistic changes, and even preserves a lot of English, French and German sentences in the original text, which leads to more or less dyslexia for the reader. As a kind of translation which is different from traditional translation, "Translation and Writing" has aroused intense discussion in the field of translation. This also causes the author's deep thought and association. Through the analysis of the problems reflected in the Translation and Writing, the author finds that these problems belong to the ethical problems of translation in essence. Since Berman, a French scholar, first put forward the concept of translation ethics in 1984, a group of western scholars have put forward their own opinions on the ethical aspects of translation, which are reflected in various academic newspapers and monographs. While introducing western translation ethics theory in China, many scholars have made some achievements in this respect. However, at present, there are many schools of thought in this field, showing the scene of a hundred schools of thought, some theories will even appear self-contradictory dilemma. The author holds that the core issue of translation ethics is related to the treatment of interpersonal relations, that is, inter-subjectivity ethics. In the context of economic globalization, intercultural communication should be an equal dialogue. Similarly, as a means of cross-cultural communication, translation should also be an activity among subjects in accordance with the principle of equal dialogue. Translation activities usually involve the author of the original text, the translator, the publisher and the reader. The essence of ethics is the interaction with others. Therefore, the ethics between translation subjects instructs us to deal with the relationship between ourselves and others. The purpose of this paper is to explore the ethical problems projected by rewriting in literary translation under the background of economic globalization. Based on the review of translation ethics at home and abroad, the other ethics of Levinas and Steiner's interpretation of the four steps, based on case analysis and theoretical elaboration, the author tries to find the answer from the inter-subjectivity ethics of translation. The translation ethics of respecting others, respecting differences and respecting facts is constructed from the perspective of others.
