【摘要】：季羨林是兼容百家、學(xué)貫中外的人文社會(huì)科學(xué)界泰斗,是語(yǔ)言學(xué)家、民族學(xué)家、翻譯家、歷史學(xué)家、教育家、佛學(xué)家,其涉足宗教、語(yǔ)言、哲學(xué)、文學(xué)、歷史等學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域并均取得了相應(yīng)的不朽成就。他精通多門外語(yǔ),縱觀季老的學(xué)術(shù)生涯,用他自己的話說(shuō),“翻譯與創(chuàng)作并舉,語(yǔ)言、歷史與文藝?yán)碚擙R抓,對(duì)比較文學(xué)、民間文學(xué)等等也有濃厚的興趣”�？梢哉f(shuō),季老是一個(gè)地地道道的“雜家”。雖為“雜家”,卻門門精通,作為杰出的翻譯家,季老不但給我們留下了上百萬(wàn)字的價(jià)值斐然的不朽譯作,而且還提出了很多寶貴的翻譯思想,他這一生都在關(guān)心中國(guó)的翻譯事業(yè),即使是在病榻上。至今研究季老的文章及著作頗豐,但專門研究其翻譯方面的文章卻很少,本文旨在就季羨林作為翻譯家進(jìn)行較為整體的研究,以期能為中國(guó)翻譯史盡一點(diǎn)微薄之力。 本文共分為五章,第一章為介紹,分別從國(guó)外、國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)翻譯家的研究,以及對(duì)季老作為翻譯家研究的文章進(jìn)行分析、綜述,此外還包括了本文的研究現(xiàn)狀。第二章為季羨林簡(jiǎn)介,分別論述季老的生平及翻譯生涯。第三章整理論述了季羨林翻譯思想,我們可以從中找到一些季老對(duì)中國(guó)翻譯事業(yè)的中肯建議。該章為本論文中最重要的一章,我們把季老的翻譯思想大體歸為三大部分,每一部分又包括了若干個(gè)小部分,以期能對(duì)季老的翻譯思想做到較詳盡的整理論述。第四章為季羨林譯著欣賞,在欣賞的同時(shí)照應(yīng)了季羨林的部分翻譯理論。本論文的最后一章,也就是第五章為結(jié)論部分,主要從季老作為一個(gè)杰出翻譯家方面進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià),并對(duì)論文進(jìn)行總結(jié)。另外,本文還從季老的《清華園日記》中摘取了季老已出版的譯著列為附錄。
[Abstract]:Ji Xianlin is a Chinese and foreign scholar, a linguist, an ethnologist, a translator, a historian, an educator, a Buddhist scholar, who is involved in religion, language, philosophy, literature, History and other academic fields have made the corresponding immortal achievements. He is proficient in many foreign languages, throughout his academic career, in his own words, "translation and creation at the same time, language, history and literary theory, there is also a strong interest in comparative literature, folklore, and so on." It can be said that Ji Lao is a genuine "miscellaneous home." Although he is a "miscellaneous family", he is well versed in his family. As an outstanding translator, Ji Lao not only left us with a million words worth of immortal translations, but also put forward a lot of valuable translation ideas. He has been concerned about translation in China all his life, even on his sickbed. So far, Ji Lao's articles and works have been studied quite a lot, but few articles have been devoted to his translation. This paper aims to make a relatively overall study on Ji Xianlin as a translator in order to contribute a little bit to the history of Chinese translation. This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is an introduction, respectively from the foreign and domestic studies of translators, as well as the analysis of Ji Lao as a translator, a summary, but also includes the status quo of this study. The second chapter is an introduction to Ji Xianlin, which discusses Ji Lao's life and translation career. Chapter three deals with Ji Xianlin's translation thoughts, from which we can find some pertinent suggestions of Ji Lao on Chinese translation. This chapter is the most important chapter in this thesis. We classify Ji Lao's translation thoughts into three parts, each of which includes several small parts, in order to make a more detailed analysis of Ji Lao's translation thoughts. The fourth chapter is the appreciation of Ji Xianlin's translation works, while referring to Ji Xianlin's partial translation theory. The last chapter of this paper, the fifth chapter, is the conclusion part, mainly from Ji Lao as an outstanding translator to evaluate and summarize the paper. In addition, the translated works published by Ji Lao are listed as appendices from Qing Hua Yuan Diary of Qing Hua Yuan.
