[Abstract]:Since the 1980s, Chinese translation studies have made rapid progress. Translation of China (formerly known as "Translation Communication", hereinafter referred to as "Translation of China"), as a national translation professional publication, It has become the largest and most influential academic communication platform in translation theory and translation education in China. Since its official publication in 1980, China Translation has played an irreplaceable guiding role and influence on the development of translation studies in China on the principle of letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend. It is an important window to understand translation studies in China. From this special perspective, this paper examines the development trend of Chinese translation studies in the past 30 years, and puts forward the author's problems and reflections at the same time. First of all, it focuses on the study of Chinese traditional translation theory. From the perspective of "Chinese Translation", from the 1980s to the early 1990s, the study of traditional translation theory has continued because of its little influence from western translation theories. A tendency to pursue "skill" and reinterpret some of the previous arguments. With the continuous introduction of western translation theories, after a period of "marginalizing" history, Chinese traditional translation theory has returned to the perspective of researchers. The reinterpretation of traditional translation theory and its modern transformation have become the focus of research. The second is the study of western translation theory. Chinese researchers have changed from almost completely westernized western translation theory to scientific and rational critical reference, and the research has also changed from sporadic research to a certain theory. A theorist's point of view is transformed into a holistic study and a systematic review. At the same time, the origin and development of a certain theory, and the relationship and difference between the theory and other schools of thought are studied. The last part is the study of translation. From the "Establishment of Translation Studies" to the establishment of translation studies as an independent discipline in China, the process is tortuous and the debate is fierce. However, it is precisely because of these arguments that many problems have been further deepened and related concepts have been clarified, which undoubtedly provides favorable conditions for the establishment and development of a discipline.
