【摘要】：奎因是當(dāng)代著名的分析哲學(xué)家，邏輯實(shí)用主義的主要?jiǎng)?chuàng)始人，在西方哲學(xué)界與羅素、卡爾納普等人齊名�？蛟谄渲鳌墩Z詞和對(duì)象》中，首次提出了翻譯的不確定性論，，這一論題在西方語言學(xué)界、哲學(xué)界和翻譯理論界引起了相當(dāng)大的反響。指稱論可謂是意義理論中歷史最為悠久而且影響較大的理論。指稱論強(qiáng)調(diào)語詞和語句的意義問題，并認(rèn)為名稱和對(duì)象之間是語言事物和非語言事物之間的關(guān)系，一個(gè)名稱的意義就是它所指示或指稱的對(duì)象。本文首先介紹兩個(gè)理論的思想及發(fā)展，然后客觀地對(duì)指稱論進(jìn)行了評(píng)析，從意義的不確定和意義與指稱的區(qū)別兩個(gè)方面對(duì)指稱論進(jìn)行批判，并將哲學(xué)理論和日常語言相結(jié)合來證實(shí)奎因?qū)χ阜Q論批判的正確性。基于對(duì)指稱論不合理因素的批判，一方面推動(dòng)了意義理論的進(jìn)步和發(fā)展，另一方面明確了指稱論和指稱理論的區(qū)別，并在一定意義上對(duì)英語詞匯教學(xué)有重要的啟示作用。
[Abstract]:Quinn is a famous contemporary analytical philosopher and the main founder of logical pragmatism. Quinn put forward the theory of uncertainty in translation for the first time in his works "words and objects", which has aroused a great response in western linguistics, philosophy and translation theory. Referential theory is the oldest and most influential theory in the theory of meaning. Referential theory emphasizes the meaning of words and sentences, and holds that the relationship between names and objects is the relationship between linguistic things and non-linguistic things, and the meaning of a name is the object it indicates or refers to. This paper first introduces the thought and development of the two theories, then evaluates the referential theory objectively, criticizes the referential theory from the aspects of meaning uncertainty and the difference between meaning and reference. And the combination of philosophical theory and everyday language to verify the correctness of Quinn's criticism of referential theory. Based on the criticism of irrational factors of referential theory, it promotes the progress and development of the theory of meaning on the one hand, and clarifies the difference between theory of reference and theory of reference on the other hand, and has an important enlightening effect on the teaching of English vocabulary in a certain sense.
