語境順應論視角下中文天氣預報中語言模糊現(xiàn)象研究
[Abstract]:Since the late 1970s, with the publication of fuzzy set by American information cybernetics expert Zade, "fuzzy" has become a special scientific term to enter the research field. Many experts and scholars at home and abroad have studied ambiguity in many fields such as philosophy, logic, psychology, linguistics and so on. In the field of linguistics, many experts and scholars have studied and discussed the phenomenon of linguistic vagueness in different texts from the perspectives of lexicology, cognitive linguistics, semantics and pragmatics, and obtained fruitful theoretical and empirical results. As a kind of discourse, weather forecast has received relatively little attention and research in the field of linguistics because of its special practical function. For a long time, people only pay attention to the practical value of weather forecast, but neglect the language analysis value of this special text form. Although some scholars study the linguistic phenomena in weather forecasting from the perspectives of news communication stylistics systemic functional linguistics and pragmatics the study on the fuzziness of their language is relatively insufficient. In this thesis, qualitative analysis is used to study linguistic ambiguity in Chinese weather forecasting from the perspective of pragmatics, using the contextual adaptation theory of Withollen. The author randomly collected 36 Chinese weather forecast video transliteration texts from 2008 to 2010 as the research data to analyze the characteristics of Chinese weather forecast fuzzy language. This paper discusses how the use of fuzzy language adapts to the mental world, social world and physical world of contextual factors, and attempts to explore the pragmatic functions of fuzzy language in the process of adapting to contextual elements in Chinese weather forecast. Through the analysis of this paper, the author finds that the Chinese weather forecast language has typical fuzziness, and these fuzzy languages can be divided into seven categories according to the concepts expressed by them, namely, expressing time, space, quantity and change, and the concept of information source. The choice and use of fuzzy language is the result of the mental world, social world and physical world in the adaptation of the host and the relevant departments such as national meteorology. The use of fuzzy language in Chinese weather forecast has a positive pragmatic function, which can protect the speaker's own function and achieve the accuracy, flexibility, efficiency and sensibility of language expression at the same time. The author hopes that through the research and analysis of fuzzy language phenomenon in Chinese weather forecast in this paper, people can pay attention to its great practical value as well as its linguistic characteristics. Therefore, it provides a new linguistic perspective for people to understand weather forecast. At the same time, through the research of this paper, The author hopes to provide useful enlightenment for people to better understand weather forecast information and language characteristics, to learn to use fuzzy language more reasonably and appropriately, and to achieve the ideal communication effect.
