【摘要】：目的論把翻譯看作是一種基于源語(yǔ)文本的目的性行為。翻譯時(shí),應(yīng)把翻譯目的作為考慮的首要因素。該理論拓寬了翻譯研究的范圍,使翻譯不再局限于語(yǔ)言轉(zhuǎn)換過程和源語(yǔ)文本,并擴(kuò)大了目的語(yǔ)文化對(duì)翻譯活動(dòng)的影響,提高了譯者的地位。目的論的提出者弗米爾同時(shí)指出了翻譯三原則：目的原則、連貫原則和忠實(shí)原則。 《紅樓夢(mèng)》是我國(guó)古典小說的巔峰。由楊憲益夫婦共同完成的譯本因其完整性和譯者的權(quán)威性吸引了無數(shù)學(xué)者從不同的角度進(jìn)行研究,而且近年來隱喻及其翻譯逐漸成為研究的焦點(diǎn),因此本文將該著作中的隱喻翻譯作為研究對(duì)象,從目的論的角度進(jìn)行分析。 文章共包括五部分。第一部分用來闡述該研究的背景、目的和意義、研究問題、研究方法和論文結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分文獻(xiàn)綜述則詳述了國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)隱喻翻譯的研究、以及對(duì)目的論的研究和應(yīng)用。第三部分主要對(duì)目的論加以詳細(xì)介紹,包括目的論的形成和意義、三原則、以及它對(duì)于隱喻翻譯的適用性。第四部分從目的論三原則的角度分析楊譯版《紅樓夢(mèng)》中的隱喻翻譯：從譯者的目的和相關(guān)隱喻翻譯例證反映出目的原則；從富有文化色彩的隱喻和描述性隱喻兩方的翻譯及其分析體現(xiàn)出連貫原則；從由字詞構(gòu)成的隱喻和由句子構(gòu)成的隱喻兩者的翻譯及其分析體現(xiàn)出了忠實(shí)原則。之后作者總結(jié)了五個(gè)翻譯方法：解釋、轉(zhuǎn)移、刪除、字面翻譯和加注。第五部分對(duì)于本文的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)、不足之處和提出的建議加以總結(jié)。 通過從目的原則、連貫原則和忠實(shí)原則三方面分別對(duì)楊譯版《紅樓夢(mèng)》中的隱喻翻譯進(jìn)行分析,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)楊憲益夫婦對(duì)隱喻的翻譯符合目的論三原則,并且再次證明了目的論對(duì)于文學(xué)文本的適用性。兩位譯者通過隱喻的成功翻譯向世界生動(dòng)地展現(xiàn)了中國(guó)的特色文化,促進(jìn)了文化交流。
[Abstract]:The aim is to treat the translation as a kind of objective sexual behavior based on the source language . When translating , the purpose of translation should be taken as the first factor to consider . The theory widens the scope of the translation studies , which makes translation no longer restricted to the translation process and the source language , and expands the influence of the target language culture on the translation activities , and improves the translator ' s position . The aim is to put forward the three principles of translation : the purpose principle , the coherence principle and the faithful principle .

The Dream of Red Mansion is the peak of Chinese classical novels . The translation of translation completed by Yang Xianyi has attracted numerous scholars from different angles because of its integrity and translator ' s authority . In recent years , metaphor and its translation have become the focus of the study . Therefore , this paper analyzes the metaphor translation in this work as the object of study , from the perspective of teleology .

The article includes five parts . The first part is used to illustrate the background , purpose and significance of the research , the research problems , the research methods and the paper structure . The second part of the literature review details the study of metaphor translation both at home and abroad , as well as the research and application of the teleology . The third part mainly introduces the theory of teleology , including the formation and significance of the teleology , the third principle and its applicability to metaphor translation .
The translation and analysis of the two sides of metaphor and descriptive metaphor of rich cultural color reflects the coherence principle ;
The author summarizes five translation methods : interpretation , transfer , deletion , literal translation and filling . The fifth part summarizes the main findings , shortcomings and suggestions of this paper .

Through the analysis of the metaphor translation from the three aspects of the principles of interest , coherence and faithful principle , the author finds that the translation of metaphor is in accordance with the three principles of teleology and again proves the applicability of the teleology to literary texts . The two translators vividly demonstrate the Chinese characteristic culture through successful translation of metaphor and promote cultural exchange .
