【摘要】：委婉語是人類語言使用過程中的一種普遍現(xiàn)象,有著獨(dú)特的語言交際功能。作為交際中的“潤滑劑”,它可以幫助人們建立良好的人際關(guān)系、營造和諧的交際氛圍,從而更有效地實(shí)現(xiàn)交際意圖。在西方國家里,委婉詞語的運(yùn)用更是涉及到生活的各個(gè)方面,如經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治、宗教、文化等。 委婉語在日常交流中很重要,在政治領(lǐng)域中更是起著至關(guān)重要的作用。由于政客們處理的是國內(nèi)國際問題,人們對(duì)他們所說的話就更為敏感。他們的言語可能影響國家之間的關(guān)系,甚至影響政府在其人民心目中的形象。因此,政客們經(jīng)常使用委婉語作為有效的手段來起到含蓄、婉轉(zhuǎn)的作用。對(duì)于政治委婉語,以往的研究大多只局限于其功能和分類,而對(duì)于政治委婉語的理據(jù)卻研究的很少。本文試圖運(yùn)用認(rèn)知語言學(xué)范疇化理論來研究政治領(lǐng)域中委婉語的理據(jù),以加深人們對(duì)政治委婉語的認(rèn)識(shí),同時(shí)希望此研究對(duì)政治領(lǐng)域中的委婉語理解和翻譯有所幫助。 論文共分為五章。第一章是引言,介紹本文的研究背景、研究意義、語料來源以及研究方法。第二章是文獻(xiàn)綜述,主要回顧委婉語研究的歷史,政治委婉語的定義以及功能。同時(shí)從不同角度對(duì)理據(jù)進(jìn)行了闡述,從而找到本研究的切入點(diǎn)。第三章是本文的理論框架,對(duì)范疇化的原型理論和范疇化的層次理論進(jìn)行闡述。第四章是本文的中心部分,具體分析如何從范疇化角度尤其是如何運(yùn)用原型理論和層次理論來研究政治委婉語的理據(jù)。本章主要選取了政治委婉語領(lǐng)域中有關(guān)戰(zhàn)爭和經(jīng)濟(jì)的委婉語進(jìn)行研究,深刻的論證了政治委婉的認(rèn)知理據(jù)。最后一章是結(jié)論部分,總結(jié)本文的研究發(fā)現(xiàn),存在的不足及其對(duì)今后委婉語研究的展望。
[Abstract]:Euphemism is a common phenomenon in the process of human language use and has a unique communicative function. As a "lubricant" in communication, it can help people to establish good interpersonal relationship, create a harmonious communication atmosphere, and realize the communicative intention more effectively. In western countries, the use of euphemism involves all aspects of life, such as economy, politics, religion, culture and so on. Euphemism is very important in daily communication, especially in the political field. Since politicians are dealing with domestic and international issues, people are more sensitive to what they say. Their words may affect relations between countries and even the image of the government in the eyes of its people. Therefore, politicians often use euphemism as an effective means to play an implicit and tactful role. For political euphemism, most of the previous studies are limited to its function and classification, but the motivation of political euphemism is seldom studied. This paper attempts to use the categorization theory of cognitive linguistics to study the motivation of euphemism in the political field in order to deepen people's understanding of political euphemism and hope that this study will be helpful to the understanding and translation of euphemism in the political field. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the research background, research significance, corpus sources and research methods. Chapter two is a literature review, which reviews the history of euphemism, the definition and function of political euphemism. At the same time, from different angles to explain the motivation, so as to find the breakthrough point of this study. The third chapter is the theoretical framework of this paper, the prototype theory of categorization and the hierarchy theory of categorization are expounded. Chapter four is the central part of this paper, which analyzes how to study the motivation of political euphemism from the perspective of categorization, especially from the perspective of prototype theory and hierarchical theory. This chapter focuses on the political euphemism in the field of war and economic euphemism, and deeply demonstrates the cognitive motivation of political euphemism. The last chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the research findings, shortcomings and prospects for the future research of euphemism.
