【摘要】:語(yǔ)言中的性別歧視問(wèn)題一直是中西方語(yǔ)言學(xué)家特別是社會(huì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)家深感興趣的一個(gè)重要課題。他們對(duì)從語(yǔ)音、詞匯和語(yǔ)法等層面上表現(xiàn)出的性別歧視現(xiàn)象,實(shí)際上往往都是歧視女性的現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了界定、研究和探討,并將社會(huì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論作為主要依據(jù),分析了產(chǎn)生這一現(xiàn)象的原因。20世紀(jì)80年代后期至90年代,認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)誕生。它提出語(yǔ)言的創(chuàng)建、學(xué)習(xí)及運(yùn)用,基本上都必須能夠透過(guò)人類(lèi)的認(rèn)知而加以解釋,人們的日常經(jīng)驗(yàn)是語(yǔ)言使用的基礎(chǔ),語(yǔ)言和一般認(rèn)知能力密不可分,因?yàn)檎J(rèn)知能力是人類(lèi)知識(shí)的根本。這一領(lǐng)域的研究成果為進(jìn)一步探索語(yǔ)言中的性別歧視現(xiàn)象提供了新的視角。本文在認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的框架內(nèi),以原型理論和認(rèn)知隱喻理論為理論依據(jù),對(duì)漢英語(yǔ)言中存在的性別歧視現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行跨語(yǔ)言比較研究和比較全面系統(tǒng)的闡釋。本研究的漢英語(yǔ)言性別歧視語(yǔ)料主要采集自《現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)詞典》、《牛津高階英漢雙解大詞典》和百度百科(http://baike.baidu.com/),同時(shí)參考了《說(shuō)文解字》、《漢語(yǔ)大詞典》和《英文字根字典》等工具書(shū),力求收詞豐富全面且具有代表性。論文首先對(duì)“語(yǔ)言性別歧視”、“原型”以及“概念隱喻”或“認(rèn)知隱喻”等相關(guān)概念進(jìn)行了界定和介紹,接著運(yùn)用定性方法和語(yǔ)言比較和對(duì)比法將語(yǔ)料進(jìn)行分類(lèi)、描述以及對(duì)比分析,最后得出以下結(jié)論:漢英語(yǔ)言性別歧視現(xiàn)象的成因在認(rèn)知宏觀上具有共性,帶有性別歧視色彩的固定的語(yǔ)言形式的生成是以男性為人類(lèi)范疇原型的認(rèn)知心理為直接動(dòng)因的,而通過(guò)含義的演變和引申形成的性別歧視語(yǔ)則是人們?cè)谝陨夏行栽偷乃季S定勢(shì)下進(jìn)行的特定認(rèn)知隱喻操作的結(jié)果。最后,論文還對(duì)性別歧視語(yǔ)的發(fā)展變化進(jìn)行了分析并探討了語(yǔ)言性別歧視的規(guī)避,希望借此喚起語(yǔ)言使用者對(duì)性別歧視語(yǔ)的警覺(jué)和為語(yǔ)言政策制定者拿出積極有效的方案提供思路,從而改善語(yǔ)言環(huán)境增進(jìn)社會(huì)和諧。
[Abstract]:Gender discrimination in language has always been an important topic of great interest to Chinese and western linguists, especially social linguists. In fact, they have defined, studied and discussed the phenomenon of sexism in phonological, lexical and grammatical aspects, and used sociolinguistic theory as the main basis. This paper analyzes the causes of this phenomenon. Cognitive linguistics was born from the late 1980s to the 1990s. It suggests that the creation, learning and use of language must basically be explained by human cognition, and that people's daily experience is the basis of language use, and that language and general cognitive ability are inextricably linked. Because cognitive ability is the foundation of human knowledge. The research results in this field provide a new perspective for further exploring sexism in language. Within the framework of cognitive linguistics, this paper, based on prototype theory and cognitive metaphor theory, makes a cross-linguistic comparative study of sexism in Chinese and English languages and gives a comprehensive and systematic explanation. The sexist data of Chinese and English languages are mainly collected from Modern Chinese Dictionary, Oxford High order English-Chinese Dictionary and Baidu Encyclopedia (http://baike.baidu.com/). At the same time, we refer to reference books such as Shuo Wen Jie Zi, Chinese Dictionary and English Root Dictionary, etc. Strive to collect words rich and comprehensive and representative. The thesis first defines and introduces the concepts of "linguistic sexism", "prototype" and "conceptual metaphor" or "cognitive metaphor", and then classifies the corpus by qualitative method and linguistic comparison and contrast. Finally, the following conclusions are drawn: the causes of sexism in Chinese and English languages are common in cognitive macroscopics. The formation of fixed language forms with sexist color is directly motivated by the cognitive psychology that male is the prototype of human category. The sexist language formed by the evolution and extension of meaning is the result of the specific cognitive metaphor operation under the thought pattern of the above male archetypes. Finally, the paper analyzes the development and changes of sexist language and discusses the circumvention of linguistic sexism. It is hoped that language users will be alerted to sexist language and ideas will be provided for language policy makers to develop positive and effective programs to improve the language environment and promote social harmony.
