【摘要】：反語作為一種普遍的語言現(xiàn)象,在日常交流中被廣泛使用,但是目前對(duì)反語理論的研究卻甚少。雖然眾多學(xué)者從修辭學(xué)、哲學(xué)、心理學(xué)、語言學(xué)等多個(gè)領(lǐng)域提出理論研究反語,然而因反語本身存在的復(fù)雜性和研究維度的多樣性,這些理論都沒有形成系統(tǒng)性的支撐體系。本文通過一系列的例證來闡述言語反語(反語的一種)的應(yīng)用情況,并通過對(duì)比格萊斯的傳統(tǒng)反語觀及斯泊伯和威爾遜的關(guān)聯(lián)理論反語觀來證明后者在反語分析方面的合理性。 本文首先向讀者描述了反語研究的總體狀況。反語不僅在日常交流中屢見不鮮而且倍受中外文學(xué)家的青睞,因而成為眾多領(lǐng)域的熱門研究話題。此部分還指出本文的研究意義及研究目的,主要解決以下問題：1)反語的基本概念,包括其定義、分類、主要研究方法；2)關(guān)聯(lián)理論反語觀較之格萊斯反語觀的合理性；3)關(guān)聯(lián)理論視角下言語反語的本質(zhì),產(chǎn)生動(dòng)機(jī)以及影響反語識(shí)別及其理解的因素等。 第二章為文獻(xiàn)綜述部分,針對(duì)前一章提出的第一個(gè)問題作出回答。本章不僅詳細(xì)闡述了反語的一些基本概念,而且對(duì)國內(nèi)外反語研究的歷史及現(xiàn)狀進(jìn)行了簡短的回顧。從研究方法上看,對(duì)反語的研究或是描述性的或是規(guī)約性的；從歷時(shí)的角度看,大致可分為古典反語理論和現(xiàn)代反語理論。本文將熏點(diǎn)定格在用現(xiàn)代反語理論—格萊斯理論和關(guān)聯(lián)理論來研究言語反語。 第三章為本文的理論框架部分。作者首先對(duì)斯泊伯和威爾遜的關(guān)聯(lián)理論進(jìn)行了詳盡的介紹,討論關(guān)聯(lián)理論的形成發(fā)展、基本概念、重要原則等。關(guān)聯(lián)理論是語用學(xué)的一個(gè)重要理論,該理論認(rèn)為言語交際是一個(gè)明示推理過程。斯泊伯和威爾遜在《關(guān)聯(lián)：交流與認(rèn)知》(Relevance:Communication and Cognition)一書中運(yùn)用關(guān)聯(lián)理論對(duì)反語作了進(jìn)一步闡述,他們認(rèn)為反語是說話者的思想與特定思想或話語間的回應(yīng)解釋性關(guān)系。而格萊斯認(rèn)為反語是一種建立在會(huì)話合作原則基礎(chǔ)之上的交際概念,說反語者違反了合作原則中質(zhì)的準(zhǔn)則,反語隱含了與字面意義相反的意義。通過對(duì)比兩種理論,得出關(guān)聯(lián)理論反語觀的合理性及格萊斯反語理論觀點(diǎn)所存在的不足。 第四章主要概述了本文采用的研究方法。本文以定性分析方法為主,結(jié)合例證和對(duì)比的方法進(jìn)行研究。其主要數(shù)據(jù)和資源主要來自于著名文學(xué)作品、其他學(xué)術(shù)期刊、學(xué)術(shù)論文及作者的親身經(jīng)歷。 第五章為本文的主體部分,作者分別從言語反語的說者和聽者的角度來分析言語反語。本章所涉及的四個(gè)重點(diǎn)分別是：1)在關(guān)聯(lián)理論框架下理解言語反語的本質(zhì),即言語反語是對(duì)語言的回應(yīng)闡釋性用法。2)言語反語的產(chǎn)生動(dòng)機(jī)：其產(chǎn)生是由內(nèi)外兩重因素決定的,產(chǎn)生動(dòng)機(jī)就是為了表達(dá)幽默、諷刺或表示禮貌及親切等關(guān)系。3)如何在關(guān)聯(lián)原則的指導(dǎo)下識(shí)別言語反語。反語識(shí)別必須具備三個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)：識(shí)別出言語是回應(yīng)性的,確定回應(yīng)觀點(diǎn)的來源,識(shí)別出言者對(duì)回應(yīng)觀點(diǎn)的態(tài)度。4)關(guān)聯(lián)理論框架下應(yīng)如何理解言語反語,包括言語反語理解的過程及影響因素。本文作者所提出的反語研究的四個(gè)方面是反語研究的重要組成部分。 第六章為本文的總結(jié)部分。作者指出從關(guān)聯(lián)理論視角研究反語所具有的合理性及優(yōu)勢(shì),同時(shí)也探討了關(guān)聯(lián)理論的不足之處及本文研究的缺陷,并為未來反語的進(jìn)一步研究提出建議。
[Abstract]:As a common linguistic phenomenon, irony is widely used in daily communication, but there is little research on the theory of irony at present. Although many scholars have put forward theoretical research in many fields, such as rhetoric, philosophy, psychology, linguistics and other fields, these theories are all due to the complexity of the irony itself and the diversity of the research dimensions. There is no systematic support system. This paper expounds the application of verbal irony (one kind of irony) through a series of examples, and proves the rationality of the latter in the aspect of the analysis of irony by comparing Grice's traditional negative views and the view of the relevance theory of spear and Wilson.
This article first describes the general situation of the study of irony to the reader. Irony is not only common in daily communication but also popular with the Chinese and foreign scholars. Therefore, it has become a hot topic in many fields. This part also points out the significance and purpose of this paper, mainly to solve the following problems: 1) the basic concepts of irony, including its basic concepts, Definition, classification, and main research methods; 2) the reasonableness of the concept of relevance theory is more than that of Grice's irony; 3) the essence of verbal irony in the perspective of relevance theory, the motivation and the factors that affect the recognition and understanding of the irony.
The second chapter is the part of the literature review, which answers the first question put forward in the previous chapter. This chapter not only describes the basic concepts of the irony, but also gives a brief review of the history and current situation of the research on irony both at home and abroad. From the point of view, it can be roughly divided into classical and modern theory of irony. This paper studies the language irony in the use of modern irony theory Grice theory and relevance theory.
The third chapter is a part of the theoretical framework of this article. First, the author gives a detailed introduction to the theory of relevance between Wilson and the theory of relevance. It discusses the formation, development, basic concepts and important principles of relevance theory. Relevance theory is an important theory of pragmatics. The theory holds that verbal communication is a process of ostensive inferential reasoning. In the book of "Relevance:Communication and Cognition" (communication and cognition), the author uses relevance theory to elaborate on irony. They believe that irony is an interpretative relationship between the thought of the speaker and the specific thought or discourse. And Grice believes that irony is based on the principle of conversational cooperation. The concept of interlanguage violates the qualitative criteria of the principle of cooperation, and the irony implies the opposite meaning of the literal meaning. By comparing the two theories, the reasonableness of the view of the relevance theory and the deficiency of the theory of RSI's irony are obtained.
The fourth chapter mainly summarizes the research methods used in this article. This paper mainly studies the qualitative analysis method combined with the methods of example and comparison. The main data and resources are mainly from the famous literary works, other academic journals, academic papers and the author's personal experiences.
The fifth chapter is the main part of this article. The author analyzes verbal irony from the angle of the speaker and the listener. The four focuses of this chapter are: 1) understanding the essence of verbal irony under the framework of relevance theory, that is, verbal irony is an explanatory use of.2 in response to language) the motivation of verbal irony: its production It is determined by both internal and external factors. The motivation is to express humor, irony, politeness and kindness,.3) how to identify verbal irony under the guidance of the principle of relevance. The recognition of irony must have three criteria: the recognition of the speech is responsive, the source of the response is determined, and the speaker's attitude to the response is identified. Degree.4) how to understand verbal irony, including the process and influencing factors of verbal irony, in the framework of relevance theory. The four aspects of the study of irony proposed by the author are an important part of the study of irony.
The sixth chapter is the summary of this article. The author points out the reasonableness and advantages of RP from the perspective of relevance theory, and also discusses the shortcomings of the relevance theory and the defects of this study, and puts forward some suggestions for further study of the future irony.
