從目的論視角對馮象譯本《摩西五經(jīng)》進(jìn)行研究

【摘要】:本論文從目的論的視角出發(fā),對馮象譯本《摩西五經(jīng)》進(jìn)行了批判研究。譯經(jīng)歷來是大事,譯家多抱有遠(yuǎn)大理想而進(jìn)行翻譯:為傳教,為拯救靈魂,為宗教改革等,但馮象譯本《摩西五經(jīng)》是從文學(xué)角度進(jìn)行翻譯,馮象譯本在多方面都是一部與眾不同的著作。在圣經(jīng)翻譯領(lǐng)域,馮象在眾多學(xué)者中較有代表性和影響力。然而因為馮象還未成為基督教徒,沒有屬靈的生命和認(rèn)知,更沒有受過系統(tǒng)的神學(xué)教育,因而他對圣經(jīng)的理解是有局限的。他的譯文也存在一些局限和問題,F(xiàn)今已經(jīng)全球化,數(shù)字化的世界使語言和文化都共有化,圣經(jīng)文化已不在單獨(dú)屬于哪一個民族,而是全人類的財產(chǎn)。本文從目的論視角對馮象譯本進(jìn)行研究,試圖研究其譯本的局限和不足,對于這些局限和問題的提出不僅能補(bǔ)充和更新我們對圣經(jīng)翻譯的認(rèn)識也將有益于對圣經(jīng)的理解。 本文選用目的論作為理論支撐來探討馮象譯本。目的論作為德國功能派翻譯理論的核心,認(rèn)為翻譯目的決定翻譯行為,尤其是翻譯策略的選擇,從而為翻譯研究提供了新視角,并且為本文從翻譯目的角度分析馮象譯本提供了理論依據(jù)。 全文共分五章。第一章為引言,這部分闡明了本文的研究背景,研究意義等,本章指出,此論文的創(chuàng)新之處在于,,從目的論對馮象譯本進(jìn)行研究,并且對有關(guān)圣經(jīng)文學(xué)研究有所認(rèn)識和拓展。并在本章還提出問題:馮象的目的是什么?他的目的達(dá)到了嗎?本章的結(jié)尾還勾勒了本文的結(jié)構(gòu)輪廓。 第二章,“文獻(xiàn)綜述”,回顧了馮象對圣經(jīng)翻譯的貢獻(xiàn)及影響。他的譯經(jīng)現(xiàn)象鼓舞了眾多圣經(jīng)翻譯研究學(xué)者并對其產(chǎn)生了巨大的促進(jìn)。本章還包含了對目的論的國內(nèi)外研究的概述。 第三章為全文提供了理論依據(jù)。先介紹了目的論的背景,闡述目的論最重要的法則——“目的法則”、“連貫法則”、和“忠實法則”,再論述運(yùn)用目的論研究馮象譯本《摩西五經(jīng)》的可行性。 第四章,分析部分。本章首先指出馮象譯本的優(yōu)點即其譯本的文學(xué)性。然后指出其局限性,提出了由于馮象在翻譯過程中為了突出其文學(xué)性而忽略了其準(zhǔn)確性,本章基于目的論的忠實性原則最后提出了譯經(jīng)是大事,無論譯者用什么樣的方式,都應(yīng)該首先忠實于原文;隨后提出了馮的譯文并非只是譯本,更提供了豐富并且有價值的譯注,但發(fā)現(xiàn)馮譯本只列舉了《七十士譯本》作為異文佐證而忽略了死海古卷的圣經(jīng)抄本,其實貶低了譯本在?鄙系膬r值;谀康恼摰倪B貫準(zhǔn)則,后來提出了馮象譯本在某些地方是不連貫的;最后基于目的論的目的法則提出了馮象的主要目的:有希伯來語把摩西五經(jīng)重新理解翻譯,為普通學(xué)者和學(xué)界提供一種基于現(xiàn)代學(xué)術(shù)成果便于學(xué)習(xí)研究的譯本和希望改變圣經(jīng)文學(xué)地位的目的。 本章最后提出此譯本是否理想應(yīng)有歷史來判斷,但要深入了解摩西五經(jīng)的歷史背景,以及對經(jīng)文的譯注這些就有一定的局限需要進(jìn)一步研究。 最后是第五章結(jié)論部分。這一章對本論文所探討的問題進(jìn)行了歸納總結(jié),并指出廓清對圣經(jīng)翻譯認(rèn)識和重新評價馮象譯本的必要性。
[Abstract]:From the perspective of Skopostheorie, this paper makes a critical study of the Feng Xiang version of the five classics of Mose. The translation experience is a major event, and the translators have many great ideals to be translated: to be missionary, to save the soul and to reform the religion, but Feng Xiang's translation of the five classics of Mose is a translation from the angle of literature, and the translation of Feng Xiang is in many ways There are many different works. In the field of Bible translation, Feng is more representative and influential among many scholars. However, because Feng has not become a Christian, there is no spiritual life and cognition, no systematic theological education, so his understanding of the Bible is limited. His translation also has some limitations and problems. Through globalization, the digital world makes both language and Culture Co - oriented. The biblical culture is not a single nation, but the property of all human beings. This paper studies the translation of Feng Xiang from the point of view of Skopos theory, trying to study the limitations and shortcomings of the translation, and not only supplement and update the limitations and questions of these bureaus and questions. The understanding of Bible translation will also benefit the understanding of the Bible.
This paper uses skopos theory as a theoretical support to explore the translation of Feng Xiang. Skopos theory, as the core of the German functionalist translation theory, believes that translation purposes determine translation behavior, especially the choice of translation strategies, thus providing a new perspective for translation studies, and providing a theoretical basis for the analysis of Feng Xiang translation from the perspective of translation purposes.
The full text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which clarifies the background of the study and the significance of the study. This chapter points out that the innovation of this thesis lies in the study of Feng Xiang translation from the skopos theory, and the understanding and expansion of the study of Biblical Literature. The second chapter, "literature review", reviews the contribution and influence of Feng Xiang to biblical translation. His translation phenomenon inspires many biblical translation researchers and has made a great promotion to it. This chapter also contains a summary of the domestic and foreign studies of Skopos theory.
The third chapter provides the theoretical basis for the full text. It introduces the background of the teleology first, expounds the most important principles of the skopos theory, the principle of purpose, the law of coherence, and the law of loyalty, and then discusses the feasibility of using the teleology to study the Mose's Five Classics in the translation of Feng Xiang.
This chapter first points out the advantages of Feng Xiang's translation, that is, the literariness of its translation. Then, it points out its limitations and puts forward that the accuracy of Feng Xiang is ignored in the process of translation in order to highlight its literariness. In this chapter, based on the principle of fidelity of the Skopos theory, the translation classics are the major events, no matter what the translators use. The way, all of which should be faithful to the original text first, then put forward that Feng's translation is not only a translation, but also provides a rich and valuable translation, but it is found that Feng's translation only enumerates the Bible transcript of the ancient scroll of the Dead Sea, which has been ignored by the translation of the ancient book in Dead Sea. It was later proposed that the translation of Feng Xiang was incoherent in some places; finally, the main purpose of Feng Xiang was put forward by the purposive principle of Skopos Theory: the Hebrew translated Mose's five classics to the translation of the five classics, and provided the ordinary scholars and academics with a translation of the study and the hope of changing the biblical text based on the modern academic achievements. At the end of this chapter, it is suggested that the ideal of the translation should be judged by history, but it is necessary to further study the limitations of the historical background of Mose's Five Classics and the limitations of the translation of the Scriptures.
The last part is the concluding part of the fifth chapter. This chapter summarizes the problems discussed in this paper, and points out the necessity of clarifying the understanding of the Bible translation and reassessing the translation of Feng Xiang.
