互文性視角下研究《魔戒》兩個中文譯本的語境解構(gòu)與重構(gòu)

【摘要】:互文性質(zhì)疑文本的獨創(chuàng)性,強調(diào)文本間的相互關(guān)系。該理論由索緒爾的符號學(xué)和巴赫金的對話理論發(fā)展而來?死锼沟偻迯暮蟋F(xiàn)代主義的視角正式確立了這一術(shù)語。之后,羅蘭·巴特、德里達(dá)和其他后現(xiàn)代主義理論家對其發(fā)展做出了進(jìn)一步貢獻(xiàn),而結(jié)構(gòu)主義學(xué)者熱內(nèi)特和里法特爾則為互文性提供了更為具體的闡釋和研究方法。 互文性理論也被應(yīng)用于翻譯研究。由于源文本中交織著眾多互文關(guān)系,它不可能被準(zhǔn)確地翻譯到另一個語言體系,因此,翻譯無法實現(xiàn)與源文本對等的效果。韋努蒂提出了翻譯的產(chǎn)生和接受實質(zhì)上是一個語境解構(gòu)和重構(gòu)的過程,源文本中的互文關(guān)系被替換成了類似卻根本不同的新的互文關(guān)系。 本文則是以上述理論為研究基礎(chǔ),試比較托爾金的魔幻巨著《魔戒》的兩個中文譯本經(jīng)歷的語境解構(gòu)與重構(gòu)過程。文中探討了三種互文關(guān)系,,即文內(nèi)互文、文際互文、以及文本在接受語境中的互文關(guān)系。研究表明,譯者與目標(biāo)語受眾,通過各種文本互動,給《魔戒》注入了新的內(nèi)涵。 通過分析,文章得出互文和變化是翻譯的重要特質(zhì),同時,翻譯也是個不斷演化的動態(tài)過程,是交織著各種文本的新生命。但是,普通讀者不大可能會從此類哲學(xué)高度審視翻譯,因此,從互文性的角度解讀譯本的語境解構(gòu)和重構(gòu)則需要具備翻譯理論儲備和雙語技能的模范讀者來實現(xiàn),他們更注重研究文本在翻譯過程中獲取的新內(nèi)涵。本文正是模范閱讀的一次有益嘗試,這種研究理念有望提高翻譯文本的地位,從而為翻譯研究提供新的的視角。
[Abstract]:Intertextuality questions the originality of the text and emphasizes the interrelationship between the texts.The theory is developed from Saussure's semiotics and Bakhtin's dialogue theory.Christina formally established the term from the perspective of postmodernism.Later, Roland Bart, Derrida and other postmodernist theorists made further contributions to its development, while Structuralist scholars Genet and Rifattel provided more concrete interpretation and research methods for intertextuality.Intertextuality is also applied to translation studies.Due to the intertextuality of the source text, it is impossible to translate it into another language system accurately. Therefore, translation cannot achieve the effect of equivalence with the source text.Weinuti puts forward that the generation and acceptance of translation is essentially a process of context deconstruction and reconstruction in which the intertextuality in the source text is replaced by a new intertextuality that is similar but fundamentally different.On the basis of the above theory, this paper tries to compare the two Chinese versions of Tolkien's magic masterpiece, the Ring of the Lord of the Rings, in the process of context deconstruction and reconstruction.This paper discusses three kinds of intertextuality, I. E. intertextuality, intertextuality, and intertextuality in reception context.The study shows that the translator and the target audience, through the interaction of various texts, inject new connotations into the Lord of the Rings.Through the analysis, it is concluded that intertextuality and change are the important characteristics of translation, and that translation is a dynamic process of continuous evolution, which is a new life intertwined with various texts.However, ordinary readers are unlikely to examine translation from the perspective of such philosophy. Therefore, the deconstruction and reconstruction of the translation context from the perspective of intertextuality requires model readers with theoretical reserves and bilingual skills.They pay more attention to the new connotation of the text in the process of translation.This thesis is a useful attempt of exemplary reading, which is expected to improve the status of translated texts and provide a new perspective for translation studies.
