對(duì)外來(lái)化妝品品名漢譯的描寫(xiě)性研究:語(yǔ)料庫(kù)方法

【摘要】:近年來(lái),隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化步伐加快,中國(guó)和其它國(guó)家的貿(mào)易范圍也隨之?dāng)U大。因此,越來(lái)越多的外國(guó)商品被引入中國(guó)市場(chǎng),其中也包括世界聞名的化妝品品牌。如果這些化妝品想要在中國(guó)市場(chǎng)成功上市,除了質(zhì)量上乘、價(jià)格合理和包裝精美之外,一個(gè)適當(dāng)?shù)暮玫臐h語(yǔ)譯名也是非常必要的;瘖y品品牌的漢譯恰當(dāng)與否,將對(duì)其市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷(xiāo)和大眾化產(chǎn)生直接的影響。所以,對(duì)外來(lái)化妝品品牌的漢譯進(jìn)行一次客觀(guān)科學(xué)的研究變得非常必要。描寫(xiě)譯學(xué)起源于20世紀(jì)50年代,并在80年代取得了巨大發(fā)展。自那時(shí)起,許多海內(nèi)外學(xué)者開(kāi)始致力于描寫(xiě)翻譯研究。它的主要特點(diǎn)是:對(duì)于存在于真實(shí)世界中的翻譯事實(shí)進(jìn)行描寫(xiě)和分析,最終找出特定歷史時(shí)期和文化系統(tǒng)中制約和影響翻譯的規(guī)則和因素。另外,作為一門(mén)新興的學(xué)科,描寫(xiě)譯學(xué)目前為止僅應(yīng)用于文學(xué)翻譯的研究。所以,在本文里作者將基于語(yǔ)料庫(kù)對(duì)外來(lái)化妝品品牌名稱(chēng)的漢譯進(jìn)行一次描寫(xiě)性研究,以期找到在外來(lái)化妝品品牌的漢譯過(guò)程中需要遵循的翻譯規(guī)范。作者希望借此研究能夠?qū)γ鑼?xiě)譯學(xué)在應(yīng)用翻譯方面的研究發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)。 本文作者在第一章簡(jiǎn)單地介紹了描寫(xiě)翻譯學(xué)的起源、發(fā)展、方法論和意義。同時(shí)也對(duì)翻譯規(guī)范理論進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)介。第二章作者簡(jiǎn)單介紹了化妝品品名的定義,構(gòu)成和功能。第三章作者探討了描寫(xiě)翻譯學(xué)對(duì)外來(lái)化妝品品名漢譯研究的啟示,分別從(1)對(duì)目的語(yǔ)的重視;(2)譯者對(duì)翻譯規(guī)范的遵循兩方面進(jìn)行具體分析。第四章作者通過(guò)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)軟件對(duì)收集的語(yǔ)料進(jìn)行高頻詞統(tǒng)計(jì),然后分別對(duì)高頻詞、外來(lái)化妝品漢譯名稱(chēng)的總音節(jié)數(shù)和平仄情況進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)分析。分析之后,作者提出了翻譯共性的假設(shè),并用大量實(shí)例予以證實(shí)。第五章作者基于以上章節(jié)的分析,對(duì)在外來(lái)化妝品品名的漢譯過(guò)程中所要遵循的翻譯規(guī)范進(jìn)行了總結(jié)。最后,作者希望此論文能對(duì)外來(lái)化妝品品名的漢譯提供一些有價(jià)值的建議。
[Abstract]:In recent years, as the pace of economic globalization has accelerated, the scope of trade between China and other countries has also expanded. As a result, more and more foreign goods have been introduced into the Chinese market. They also include world-famous cosmetics brands. If these cosmetics want to be listed successfully in the Chinese market, in addition to being of good quality, reasonable prices and beautifully packaged products, A proper and good Chinese translation is also very necessary. Whether the Chinese translation of cosmetics brands is appropriate or not will have a direct impact on the marketing and popularity of cosmetics brands. It is necessary to make an objective and scientific study on the translation of foreign cosmetics brands into Chinese. Descriptive translation originated in 1950s and made great progress in 80s. Many scholars at home and abroad have devoted themselves to the study of descriptive translation. Its main characteristic is to describe and analyze the translation facts that exist in the real world. Finally, we find out the rules and factors that restrict and influence translation in a particular historical period and cultural system. As a new subject, descriptive translation is only used in the study of literary translation so far. In this paper, the author carries out a descriptive study on the translation of foreign cosmetics brand names into Chinese based on the corpus. In order to find out the translation norms to be followed in the process of translation of foreign cosmetics brands, the author hopes that the study can contribute to the development of descriptive translation studies in applied translation. In the first chapter, the author briefly introduces the origin, development, methodology and significance of descriptive translation. At the same time, the author also gives a brief introduction to the theory of translation norms. In Chapter 3, the author explores the implications of descriptive translation for the translation of foreign cosmetic names into Chinese. The author makes a detailed analysis of the translator's adherence to translation norms from two aspects. Chapter 4th uses corpus software to collect high-frequency words, and then analyzes high-frequency words respectively. The total syllable number and the average level of foreign cosmetics are analyzed in detail. After the analysis, the author puts forward the hypothesis of translation commonness, which is confirmed by a large number of examples. 5th chapter is based on the analysis of the above chapters. This paper summarizes the translation norms to be followed in the process of translating foreign cosmetics names into Chinese. Finally, the author hopes that this paper can provide some valuable suggestions for the translation of foreign cosmetics names into Chinese.
