16通道恒流LED驅動芯片的設計

【摘要】:近年來,隨著光電子技術、微電子技術、計算機技術、通信技術和圖像處理技術等的飛速發(fā)展,導致了LED大屏幕顯示系統(tǒng)的出現(xiàn),并由于其亮度高、色彩鮮艷、可靠性好、使用壽命長、環(huán)境適應能力強、成本低等諸多優(yōu)點,從而在廣告、證券、交通、體育等眾多領域得到廣泛應用。而LED顯示屏的應用需要專門的LED驅動控制芯片,它使LED獲得均勻、穩(wěn)定的電流,從而使LED顯示更加均勻,以滿足各種場合的應用要求,而且可以延長LED的使用壽命。LED顯示屏的廣泛應用,促進了LED恒流驅動芯片的發(fā)展,也對其有了更高的要求。 本文設計了一款16路恒流LED驅動芯片,它采用UMC的0.35CDMOS工藝,電源電壓為3.3V-5V,輸出電流范圍為2mA-90mA,且精確可調,輸出可以承受17V的電壓,以滿足多個LED串聯(lián)的需求,電流精度為芯片之間? 3%,通道之間? 1.5%,數(shù)據(jù)時鐘為25MHz。整個設計包括帶隙基準模塊,電流調節(jié)模塊,上電復位模塊,過熱保護模塊,輸入輸出端口模塊,輸出級模塊和數(shù)字邏輯控制模塊。 本文在基于對多通道LED恒流驅動芯片的原理分析的基礎上,在具體的性能指標的指導下,進行了子電路的分析、設計與仿真和整體電路的聯(lián)合仿真,并分析、介紹了版圖的布局、設計與驗證,最后進行了后仿真。通過對測試數(shù)據(jù)的分析,芯片較好的實現(xiàn)了功能,與SPEC較符合,而且具有較小的芯片面積。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the rapid development of optoelectronic technology, microelectronics technology, computer technology, communication technology and image processing technology, LED large screen display system appears, and because of its high brightness, bright colors, good reliability. It has many advantages, such as long service life, strong adaptability to the environment, low cost and so on. It has been widely used in many fields such as advertising, securities, transportation, sports and so on. The application of LED screen requires a special LED driver and control chip, which makes the LED obtain uniform and stable current, thus making the LED display more uniform, so as to meet the requirements of various applications. Moreover, it can prolong the service life of LED. The wide application of LED display screen promotes the development of LED constant current drive chip, and has higher requirements for it. A 16-channel constant-current LED driver chip is designed in this paper. It adopts the 0.35CDMOS technology of UMC, the power supply voltage is 3.3V-5V, the output current range is 2mA-90mA, and the output voltage can withstand 17V, so as to meet the needs of multiple LED series. The current accuracy is between chips? 3? between channels? 1.5? the data clock is 25 MHz. The whole design includes bandgap reference module, current regulation module, power on reset module, overheat protection module, input and output port module, output stage module and digital logic control module. Based on the analysis of the principle of multi-channel LED constant current drive chip, and under the guidance of specific performance index, this paper analyzes the sub-circuit, designs and simulates the whole circuit. The layout, design and verification of the layout are introduced. Finally, the post-simulation is carried out. Through the analysis of the test data, the chip realizes the function well, accords with the SPEC, and has a small chip area.
