16通道LED大屏恒流驅(qū)動芯片的仿真設計與測試

【摘要】: 隨著科技的進步和電子技術(shù)的不斷發(fā)展,人們對大屏幕顯示的要求也逐漸提高,普通的通用電源驅(qū)動芯片已遠遠不能滿足要求。LED顯示屏作為一種高科技的電子產(chǎn)品逐步引起人們的重視,它已廣泛地應用于電信、郵政、金融、交通、體育場館和戶外廣告等各個行業(yè)及政府工作部門。與此同時,人們對LED的顯示屏的要求也向大屏幕、高均勻性、高畫面品質(zhì)、長壽命的方向發(fā)展,因此,一種多通道、輸出電流高度精確的LED專用驅(qū)動芯片就成為研究的重點。 本文詳細的介紹了一種帶有保護功能的16通道LED專用恒流驅(qū)動控制芯片的設計,以及幾個功能模塊和性能指標的仿真驗證。該芯片設計所要求的工作電壓范圍為3.3V-5V,各通道的輸出電流范圍為3mA-60mA,而且輸出電流大小精確可調(diào),時鐘頻率達25MHz,以滿足大量數(shù)據(jù)的傳輸要求。設計中的電路包括SDI輸入端口模塊,SDO輸出端口模塊,基準電壓模塊,電流調(diào)節(jié)模塊,過溫保護模塊,輸出級模塊等不同的模塊電路。 本文是基于0.35um混合信號CMOS工藝,運用Cadence工作平臺,對各模塊電路進行了仿真驗證,并在此基礎上對整體電路進行了聯(lián)合功能仿真驗證和測試分析。芯片內(nèi)部的輸出電流誤差小于3%,芯片之間的輸出電流誤差小于6%,它相比以往常用的16通道LED恒流驅(qū)動器,有更優(yōu)的輸出電流調(diào)節(jié)精度以及更高的電流匹配精度,同時還擁有較小的芯片面積,在工業(yè)生產(chǎn)中可以極大提高芯片產(chǎn)量并大大降低單位芯片的生產(chǎn)成本。
[Abstract]:With the progress of science and technology and the development of electronic technology, people's demand for large screen display has been gradually raised.As a high-tech electronic product, the common universal power driver chip has been far from being able to meet the requirements. As a high-tech electronic product, it has been widely used in telecommunications, postal, finance and transportation.Sports venues and outdoor advertising and other industries and government departments.At the same time, the demand for LED display screen is also developing towards the direction of large screen, high uniformity, high picture quality and long life. Therefore, a kind of multi-channel, high-precision LED driver chip with high output current becomes the focus of research.This paper introduces in detail the design of a 16-channel LED special constant-current drive control chip with protection function, as well as the simulation verification of several functional modules and performance indexes.The working voltage range of the chip is 3.3V-5V, the output current range of each channel is 3mA-60mA. the output current can be adjusted accurately and the clock frequency can reach 25MHz to meet the requirement of large amount of data transmission.The circuits in the design include SDI input port module, reference voltage module, current regulation module, over-temperature protection module, output stage module and so on.This paper is based on the 0.35um mixed signal CMOS process, using the Cadence working platform, the simulation of each module circuit is verified, and on this basis, the whole circuit is verified and tested by the joint function simulation and analysis.The output current error within the chip is less than 3 and the output current error between the chips is less than 6. Compared with the 16-channel LED constant current driver, it has better output current regulation accuracy and higher current matching accuracy.At the same time, it also has a small chip area, which can greatly increase the chip output and greatly reduce the production cost of the unit chip in industrial production.
