【摘要】： 匾額是中華民族傳統(tǒng)文化的重要載體之一,是中國(guó)特有的一種文化符號(hào),它與我國(guó)人民的政治文化生活息息相關(guān),凡是有中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)建筑的地方,都能看到它的身影。歷史上,官方和民間的盛事,多以匾額記述和宣揚(yáng):如建筑物的落成、功德節(jié)操的旌表、商號(hào)店鋪的開(kāi)張等,都要舉行隆重的懸匾或揭匾儀式。匾額由自己懸掛、上方所賜、下屬敬獻(xiàn)、平常人互相贈(zèng)送,這一上一下、一送一迎總是有緣由的。送匾者大都不惜重金求名人書(shū)寫(xiě),并請(qǐng)高級(jí)工匠鐫刻,油漆貼金,要求工藝非常嚴(yán)格。許多著名書(shū)法家的作品,由于鐫刻在匾額上而得以流傳下來(lái)。如果把不同時(shí)期的各類(lèi)匾額排列起來(lái),就是一部洋洋大觀的書(shū)法通史。 人們對(duì)匾額文化的如此熱衷,至少表明匾額是有著特殊功能的。于是,討論匾額的功能便有著十分重要的意義了。許多匾額都有其輝煌的背景和耐人尋味的故事,集中反映著當(dāng)時(shí)的歷史和社會(huì)時(shí)尚。 匾額上的文字大多出自哲人、書(shū)家之手,精練凝重,寓意深邃,具有強(qiáng)烈的藝術(shù)感染力,給人以深刻啟迪,它具有教化的作用。表?yè)P(yáng)節(jié)操風(fēng)范的匾額令人肅然起敬,激發(fā)向往奮進(jìn)之情;祝愿鴻福昌盛的匾額讓人感到前程遠(yuǎn)大,希望無(wú)限;闡述教義的匾額使人心目了然,切中肯綮;揭示哲理的匾額使人大徹大悟,茅塞頓開(kāi);寫(xiě)景狀物的匾額或韻味清新,或氣勢(shì)雄偉,令人流連忘返;言志抒情的匾額或慷慨激昂,或婉轉(zhuǎn)細(xì)膩,教人感同身受,浮想聯(lián)翩。其寫(xiě)景狀物、敘事繪景、言衷抒懷、寫(xiě)意遣情,無(wú)不寓意深邃而音逸弦外。懸于宅門(mén)則端莊典雅,置于廳堂則蓬蓽生輝。作為人居環(huán)境的符號(hào),匾額既承載著人生哲學(xué)、道德文章、襟懷志向和愛(ài)好緣由,又折射出戶主的社會(huì)地位、身份和意趣。 匾額集文學(xué)、書(shū)法、雕刻、印章、裝飾、漆藝、建筑等多種藝術(shù)門(mén)類(lèi)于一體,是中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)藝術(shù)的濃縮升華和集中體現(xiàn),具有多方面的文化藝術(shù)價(jià)值。 建筑物內(nèi)外掛飾匾額是漢字文化圈內(nèi)所特有的一種文化現(xiàn)象,自秦漢到明清,直至當(dāng)代,仍廣泛流傳。 在今天匾額仍具有歷史佐證價(jià)值、學(xué)術(shù)研究?jī)r(jià)值、裝飾實(shí)用價(jià)值、藝術(shù)鑒賞價(jià)值、商貿(mào)廣告價(jià)值。它與其他文化形態(tài)相結(jié)合,形成了獨(dú)特的中國(guó)匾文化。這種文化,經(jīng)歷了漫長(zhǎng)的演變發(fā)展過(guò)程,形式亦由單一而漸呈多樣;重視研究與批判繼承中國(guó)匾文化,具有重要的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。 總之匾額文字所表達(dá)的理念是中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)核心價(jià)值觀的集中體現(xiàn),具有著重要的社會(huì)功能和科學(xué)藝術(shù)價(jià)值。
