【摘要】： 一個(gè)完整的語篇由兩部分構(gòu)成:主語篇和元語篇。當(dāng)今,元語篇已經(jīng)成為語篇研究的一個(gè)熱點(diǎn)。國外學(xué)界就元語篇進(jìn)行了大量的理論研究和實(shí)證研究,但這些研究主要是在母語為英語的條件下進(jìn)行的;國內(nèi)學(xué)界對(duì)中國大學(xué)生使用元語篇手段的研究較為豐富,但是鮮有學(xué)者研究中國碩士研究生使用元語篇手段的情況。從總體上來看,鮮有研究者對(duì)元語篇在英語畢業(yè)論文中的使用情況做過中外對(duì)比研究。 鑒于此不足,本研究自建兩個(gè)語料庫,對(duì)比分析中外英語碩士在畢業(yè)論文中使用元語篇手段的情況。本研究主要回答以下四個(gè)問題:1)外國碩士研究生和中國碩士研究生在英語畢業(yè)論文中是如何使用元語篇手段的?各自的使用特征有何具體體現(xiàn)?2)中外碩士研究生在英語畢業(yè)論文中使用元語篇手段存在哪些異同?3)造成這些異同之處的潛在原因是什么?4)本研究對(duì)外語教學(xué),尤其是對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)英語寫作教學(xué)有哪些啟示?通過頻率統(tǒng)計(jì)、獨(dú)立樣本t檢驗(yàn)和語篇對(duì)比分析發(fā)現(xiàn),兩組對(duì)象在使用“框架標(biāo)記”、“證源標(biāo)記”、“自我提及”和“作者讀者相互間手段”時(shí)差異明顯,且具有統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)顯著性差異,從而造成了整個(gè)元語篇使用情況的差異。同時(shí),研究結(jié)果表明,中外碩士研究生都已意識(shí)到元語篇在畢業(yè)論文中的重要性,在使用一些元語篇子項(xiàng)時(shí)表現(xiàn)出一定的相似性。本研究嘗試從三個(gè)方面解釋產(chǎn)生這些異同的原因,包括學(xué)術(shù)語篇的體裁特征、中外文化差異和學(xué)習(xí)者的學(xué)習(xí)策略。最后,本文在研究結(jié)果的基礎(chǔ)上提出了若干教學(xué)建議,并對(duì)后續(xù)研究的方向作了簡要介紹。
