【摘要】：中國英語語言學類的碩士論文英語標題與北美同類論文英語標題在句法結構分布和標題長度方面具有異同性。為此,建立了一個總量達1 162個碩士學位論文英語標題的語料庫,該庫由PQDT子庫和CNKI子庫各581個標題構成;然后,將標題分為名詞短語標題、復合標題、介詞短語標題、動詞短語標題和句子標題五類,并嘗試使用"聚焦式"研究方法以期更精確和全面地揭示標題的特征。研究結果表明,英語專業(yè)學生的碩士論文英語標題的差異性體現(xiàn)在四個維度上:標題類型、跨文化/語境、標題字數(shù)和次級學科領域。該結果意味著中國英語專業(yè)學生的碩士論文英語標題因受到其本族文化等維度的影響而趨向高度的"同質(zhì)化"。
[Abstract]:The English titles of Chinese English linguistics are different from those of the same kind in North America in terms of syntactic structure distribution and title length. For this reason, a corpus of 1162 English titles for master's degree theses is established, which is composed of 581 titles each of PQDT subdatabase and CNKI subdatabase. Then, the title is divided into five categories: noun phrase title, compound title, prepositional phrase title, verb phrase title and sentence title, and the method of "focusing" is used to reveal the characteristics of the title more accurately and comprehensively. The results show that the differences of English titles among English majors are reflected in four dimensions: title type, cross-culture / context, the number of words in the title and the sub-subject field. This result means that the English titles of Chinese English majors tend to be highly homogeneous due to the influence of their own culture and other dimensions.
