【摘要】：英語歷史文獻(xiàn)翻譯因其較高的歷史研究價(jià)值在當(dāng)今社會(huì)中的重要性日益凸顯�！丁芭d風(fēng)作浪”：政治、宣傳與日本帝國海軍的崛起(1868-1922)》是一部關(guān)于日本海軍擴(kuò)張歷史的著作。基于本書第三章的翻譯實(shí)踐,作者分析了翻譯過程中出現(xiàn)的幾個(gè)重難點(diǎn)問題：日本專有名詞的翻譯、難詞的翻譯、英語長句的翻譯,以及語篇的銜接問題。此外,本翻譯項(xiàng)目報(bào)告探究了譯者在翻譯過程中所采取的翻譯方法,如在翻譯日本專有名詞時(shí)采用了音譯法、約定俗成法,翻譯英語難詞時(shí)采用的增/減譯法、詞類轉(zhuǎn)換法,翻譯英語長句時(shí)采用的順序譯法、變序譯法、分句譯法和反譯法,以及運(yùn)用詞匯銜接手段來銜接語篇,并給出了相關(guān)的翻譯建議。本項(xiàng)目報(bào)告還為今后翻譯類似文本提供了建議,同時(shí)指出本翻譯的不足之處。
