【摘要】：本報(bào)告是基于索菲特酒店年度培訓(xùn)政策的翻譯項(xiàng)目撰寫而成的,原文是索菲特酒店的英文培訓(xùn)手冊(cè),屬于實(shí)用文本范疇。譯者將該手冊(cè)翻譯為中文,并將翻譯過程中所用的翻譯策略及遇到的問題呈現(xiàn)出來,據(jù)此完成此篇翻譯報(bào)告。在本項(xiàng)目報(bào)告中,譯者首先分析了原文的文本類型與文本特征,然后制定相應(yīng)的翻譯策略。在翻譯過程中,譯者采用參考平行文本和借鑒技術(shù)寫作思想兩種手段對(duì)原文進(jìn)行翻譯,并從詞組、句式及篇章結(jié)構(gòu)三個(gè)方面對(duì)譯文內(nèi)容及排版格式做了一些調(diào)整。本報(bào)告指出,在翻譯過程中,平行文本可以為譯者提供一定的參考信息,包括特定行業(yè)的背景知識(shí)、專業(yè)詞匯等,因此譯者應(yīng)大量閱讀平行文本,將原文與平行文本進(jìn)行對(duì)比,充分考慮到原文文本特征、譯入語文本規(guī)范與讀者需求,采取適當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略對(duì)文本進(jìn)行翻譯,從而產(chǎn)出高質(zhì)量的譯文。報(bào)告還指出,由于該項(xiàng)目涉及技術(shù)寫作范疇,譯者在翻譯過程中應(yīng)該遵循技術(shù)寫作的準(zhǔn)確性、簡(jiǎn)潔性與可用性三大原則,充分注意語言的簡(jiǎn)潔準(zhǔn)確與排版的清晰美觀,方便讀者迅速定位所需信息位置,提高譯文文本的可讀性。
