　　本文意在探索英語(yǔ)復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式,即由兩個(gè)或多個(gè)相鄰簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式構(gòu)成的構(gòu)式。盡管前人在處所介詞短語(yǔ)和簡(jiǎn)單處所構(gòu)式方面的研究汗牛充棟,但鮮有研究專注于簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)如何融合成為復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式。因此,該研究旨在探討下列四個(gè)研究問(wèn)題:1.復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式的內(nèi)部組成成分有哪些?如何對(duì)該構(gòu)式進(jìn)行分類?2.每一類復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式有哪些句法特征?3.每一類復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式有哪些語(yǔ)義特征?4.每一類復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式的意義建構(gòu)機(jī)制是什么?第一,基于從語(yǔ)料庫(kù)及前人文獻(xiàn)中搜集到的語(yǔ)料,本文研究了復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式的構(gòu)成成分。復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式是由簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式組成的,這些簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式又由空間介詞和名詞短語(yǔ)組成。與常見的簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式不同,構(gòu)成復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式的簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式也可能包含空間副詞和量詞。復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式可以分為嵌套處所構(gòu)式,準(zhǔn)嵌套處所構(gòu)式和鏈?zhǔn)教幩鶚?gòu)式。嵌套處所構(gòu)式可以進(jìn)一步分為升序嵌套處所構(gòu)式和降序嵌套處所構(gòu)式。第二,復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式既可以置于小句前端,也可置于中端及末端。復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式可以整體充當(dāng)動(dòng)詞補(bǔ)語(yǔ)、小句狀語(yǔ)及名詞后置定語(yǔ)的角色。但是,復(fù)雜處所構(gòu)式的內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)較為復(fù)雜。在升序嵌套處所構(gòu)式中,每個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單處所表達(dá)式用作其先前的處所表達(dá)式中...
