知識經(jīng)濟(jì)時(shí)代下,社會對專利信息服務(wù)的需求量在持續(xù)不斷地增長。為向國外傳遞中國最新專利信息,專利文件漢譯英的工作量更是急劇增加。專利文獻(xiàn)是一種非常重要的技術(shù)資料,既具有科學(xué)性,又是一種具有法律效力的文件,專利摘要是專利說明書的提要,譯者如何把握其翻譯使譯文讀者產(chǎn)生和原文讀者相似的反應(yīng)尤為重要。本報(bào)告結(jié)合筆者在中信翻譯有限公司專利漢英翻譯的實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷,詳細(xì)介紹了本翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景、目的、任務(wù)過程和案例分析。本文以交際翻譯理論為視角對專利摘要英譯展開研究。在案例分析部分,筆者結(jié)合紐馬克的交際翻譯理論,從詞匯層面和句法層面進(jìn)行分析研究。筆者認(rèn)為,在翻譯通信專利的過程中,要充分考慮譯文的功能和目的,注意文本的詞匯和句法特征,并正確選擇專利翻譯中應(yīng)采取的翻譯方法,比如注意復(fù)合關(guān)系副詞、術(shù)語、長難句的理解、邏輯表達(dá)等。筆者希望本篇報(bào)告能夠?yàn)閷＠g員提供一定的借鑒,并在一定程度上為國內(nèi)的通信專利翻譯的發(fā)展帶來幫助。
