JA酒店集團(tuán)網(wǎng)站英漢翻譯實(shí)踐報告

  隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的深入發(fā)展和人們生活水平的提高,近年來中國的出境游人數(shù)逐年攀升,不少國外的酒店開始把中國的出境游人群視為其營銷宣傳的目標(biāo)對象,推出中文版的酒店網(wǎng)站,國外度假酒店網(wǎng)站的英漢翻譯變得越來越重要。本實(shí)踐報告基于作者對JA酒店集團(tuán)網(wǎng)站的英漢翻譯實(shí)踐,總結(jié)了作者在翻譯過程中遇到的翻譯問題,主要涉及專有名詞的翻譯,具有呼喚功能的標(biāo)題、名詞性短語和祈使句的翻譯,以及復(fù)合句和被動句的翻譯三個方面。具體包括:(1)對宗教節(jié)日名稱、歷史遺址名稱以及職業(yè)名稱等專有名詞只作音譯或只作直譯未能向譯入語讀者傳遞隱含的文化信息;(2)原文中的標(biāo)題、獨(dú)立成句的名詞性短語和祈使句,帶有強(qiáng)烈的呼召和廣告宣傳色彩,直譯的譯文缺乏感染力;(3)對含有修飾成分的復(fù)合句以及被動句,照原文的語序和語態(tài)直譯無法實(shí)現(xiàn)譯入語的連貫性和流暢性。根據(jù)彼得·紐馬克的文本類型理論,酒店網(wǎng)站文本兼具信息型文本和呼喚型文本的特征,紐馬克主張對這兩種類型的文本應(yīng)使用交際翻譯方法,力求譯文對譯入語讀者所產(chǎn)生的交際效果接近原作對原語讀者的效果。作者在交際翻譯的指導(dǎo)下,針對上述翻譯問題提出了三種主要解決辦法,包括:意譯(具體包括增譯、釋義、拆...
