本文為一篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,翻譯原文選自《人類能源史》。能源的發(fā)展給人類帶來巨大繁榮。同時(shí),能源革命帶來的氣候變化給社會(huì)與經(jīng)濟(jì)造成諸多問題。然而,在《人類能源史》一書中,理查德·羅茲自信地安慰人們,能源發(fā)展帶來的繁榮可以讓人們?cè)谖磥韼装倌甏婊钕聛怼；诒緯^為新穎的觀點(diǎn),我們小組決定將其部分章節(jié)翻譯為中文。本項(xiàng)目的翻譯有助于引導(dǎo)人類如何改變環(huán)境以滿足自己的需求,并以保護(hù)地球和不打擾大多數(shù)居民為前提,安然走過這個(gè)世紀(jì)。本文選取了《人類能源史》(第19章)作為翻譯實(shí)踐原文,旨在探討尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下的信息類文本的翻譯方法。筆者在翻譯過程中,運(yùn)用尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論作為理論支撐,解決多義詞、被動(dòng)語態(tài)和長(zhǎng)難句翻譯方面的難點(diǎn)。本報(bào)告由五個(gè)部分構(gòu)成。第一部分介紹翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景、意義和報(bào)告的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分介紹原文作者、原文文本內(nèi)容和特點(diǎn)。第三部分討論翻譯報(bào)告的理論基礎(chǔ)。第四部分為翻譯難點(diǎn)和翻譯方法,通過實(shí)例分析,以功能對(duì)等理論為指導(dǎo),探討如何應(yīng)用這些翻譯策略有效傳遞信息、解決翻譯難點(diǎn),從而實(shí)現(xiàn)翻譯目的。第五部分是總結(jié),回顧翻譯過程中吸取的經(jīng)驗(yàn)并提出可能存在的問題。
