同一理論視角下女王伊莉莎白二世圣誕演講中親民形象的樹立

2017年末,已經(jīng)91歲高齡的英國女王伊麗莎白二世像往年一樣,在平安夜發(fā)表了圣誕夜電視致辭,讓聽眾近距離感受了皇室范兒的英語氣概,就口語和專業(yè)化水準(zhǔn)上來說是教科書級(jí)別。這也是女王可以直接公開發(fā)表自己看法的極少數(shù)場(chǎng)合之一,它的受歡迎程度和可獲取性使它自然而然地成為了語言學(xué)研究的目標(biāo)。演講與修辭是不可分離的。本研究旨在從修辭角度出發(fā),通過定量和定性研究,探索伯克同一修辭策略在女王的圣誕演講中的具體使用特征,發(fā)現(xiàn)其同一修辭策略偏好,揭示女王的親民形象成功樹立的秘密。通過使用定量分析呈現(xiàn)出內(nèi)容和形式上不同層面的不同同一策略的出現(xiàn)和使用頻率,發(fā)現(xiàn)女王圣誕致辭的同一策略偏好;而定性分析可以驗(yàn)證和解釋定量分析的結(jié)果,同時(shí)詳細(xì)分析同一策略是如何在圣誕演講中達(dá)到同一,揭示圣誕演講受歡迎的原因;最后,在以上分析的基礎(chǔ)上,探索女王如何具體使用同一策略樹立了親民形象,以期更加全面研究女王的圣誕演講。本研究主要回答了兩個(gè)研究問題:(1)女王圣誕演講中同一策略的使用如何實(shí)現(xiàn)了與聽眾的同一?(2)與聽眾的同一具體是怎樣成功樹立了女王的親民形象?由此研究發(fā)現(xiàn)了伯克同一修辭策略在女王的圣誕演講中的廣泛運(yùn)用,為女王演講的...
