本翻譯報(bào)告是筆者以保羅·瓊斯(Paul Jones)的論文《建筑的社會(huì)處境:建筑文化政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)》(Putting Architecture in its Social Place:A Cultural Political Economy of Architecture)為翻譯實(shí)踐素材。在翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者以關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論以及最佳關(guān)聯(lián)原則為指導(dǎo),將翻譯視為明示-推理的過(guò)程,并從三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行了案例分析,即:(1)準(zhǔn)確推測(cè)作者創(chuàng)作意圖,并清晰地表達(dá)出來(lái);(2)考慮讀者認(rèn)知語(yǔ)境,符合讀者認(rèn)知期待;(3)使譯文讀者花費(fèi)最少努力取得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)。報(bào)告共分五個(gè)部分。首先,報(bào)告對(duì)翻譯任務(wù)與原文本特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行闡述。其次,討論了翻譯過(guò)程,包括譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯中的問(wèn)題處理以及譯后校對(duì)。在關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下,譯者從詞匯、句子以及語(yǔ)篇最佳關(guān)聯(lián)三方面對(duì)建筑社會(huì)學(xué)論文翻譯進(jìn)行了研究。最后為翻譯實(shí)踐總結(jié),提出在關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下,采用如轉(zhuǎn)換法、語(yǔ)序調(diào)整法、分譯法和省略法等方法進(jìn)行翻譯,有助于我國(guó)建筑社會(huì)學(xué)的發(fā)展進(jìn)步,以期為建筑學(xué)翻譯者提供借鑒。
