接受理論視角下科普類文本The Weather Machine漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

科普類文本的翻譯在教育大眾、提高國民素質(zhì)中發(fā)揮著重要的作用,國內(nèi)外翻譯界已有不少關(guān)于科普類文本翻譯的研究,但這些研究大多集中在科普類文本的科學(xué)性與科普性,對(duì)其文學(xué)性和重視讀者接受的關(guān)注仍相對(duì)不足,因此有必要對(duì)其展開進(jìn)一步探究。接受理論此前多用于探討文學(xué)作品的翻譯,幾乎很少涉及科普類文本的翻譯。但接受理論認(rèn)為只有通過讀者的閱讀,文學(xué)作品的美學(xué)價(jià)值才可以實(shí)現(xiàn),這對(duì)科普文本之美的再現(xiàn)具有啟發(fā)意義。同時(shí),接受理論重視讀者的接受,這與科普類文本重視讀者對(duì)科學(xué)知識(shí)的充分理解與可讀性不謀而合。鑒于此,本論文以接受理論為指導(dǎo),以 The Weather Machine—A Journey Inside Forecast一書第一至第三章英譯漢實(shí)踐為例,探討在科普文本翻譯中如何再現(xiàn)其文學(xué)性與重視讀者接受的特點(diǎn)。本文通過對(duì)原文進(jìn)行分析后發(fā)現(xiàn),該文本具有鮮明的文學(xué)性,具體體現(xiàn)在大量使用描述性詞語、排比結(jié)構(gòu)和修辭手法如明喻、押韻;同時(shí),作者力圖用具體的事例與生動(dòng)的表達(dá)以及西方讀者熟悉的習(xí)語來科普科學(xué)知識(shí),使該文本具有很強(qiáng)的可讀性。針對(duì)原文的這些典型特點(diǎn),本文在接受理論的指導(dǎo)下從滿足讀者的期待視野、實(shí)現(xiàn)視域融合和...
