當(dāng)代社會是女性意識覺醒,女性角色活躍的歷史時(shí)期。如何將性別觀點(diǎn)納入教育已成為教育研究領(lǐng)域的熱門話題。學(xué)校教科書作為文化的重要載體,在決定學(xué)生對社會性別角色的看法方面發(fā)揮著至關(guān)重要的作用。英語作為中學(xué)的必修科目,是中學(xué)課程的重要組成部分。因此,研究英語教科書中性別角色的表現(xiàn)是必要和有價(jià)值的。本論文選取2013年人民教育出版社出版的新課標(biāo)初中英語教材Go for it!(共5本)作為研究的對象,首先從批評話語分析的視角,采用定量分析的方法,對文本(包括聽力文本)和插圖中的男女角色出現(xiàn)的頻次、男女職業(yè)角色的數(shù)量、男女角色第一位出現(xiàn)的頻次、Ms.和Mrs.出現(xiàn)的次數(shù)、男女角色所用的修飾語、男性通用語和分類系統(tǒng)等方面的呈現(xiàn)情況進(jìn)行了統(tǒng)計(jì)和對比;其次從多模態(tài)話語分析的視角,采用定性分析的方法,來分析插圖中的兩性角色在位置、著裝、姿態(tài)和面部表情等方面的差異。分析結(jié)果顯示:(1)男女角色在閱讀、對話、插圖和錄音文本中出現(xiàn)的頻次分別為:78/59、223/235、681/525、964/858,男性角色在整體上多于女性角色;(2)男女角色職業(yè)種類的數(shù)量為24/7,男性角色的職業(yè)種類遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)多于女性角色,且就...
