語言的時和體是人類對物質(zhì)世界中時間感知的反映。在英語中,時提供了時間相對于說話時間的語法標(biāo)記,體則指定了時間結(jié)構(gòu)中的視覺框架。在人類生活的世界中,不管是有界的物體還是無界的物質(zhì)都在空間中存在。然而,物體和物質(zhì)的運動是要消耗時間的,這就導(dǎo)致事件的表征具有鮮明的時間屬性,時間軸線是定位一個動作的有效途徑。本論文主要聚焦于已然類時體范疇圖式表征連續(xù)統(tǒng)的建構(gòu)研究。英語時體態(tài)的研究歷史悠久,期間許多著名的語法學(xué)家都對這種語言形式進(jìn)行了研究。在這些學(xué)者中,Smith,Reichenbach,Quirk和Lyons是代表人物。他們從形式、語義和不同分類等方面介紹和研究了的英語時態(tài)。傳統(tǒng)語言學(xué)觀點下,學(xué)者們主要強調(diào)形式,忽視了人的認(rèn)知習(xí)慣。隨著語言研究的不斷發(fā)展,以Langacker和Taylor為代表的認(rèn)知語言學(xué)逐漸成為新時期語言流派的主流。不同于傳統(tǒng)語言學(xué),認(rèn)知語言學(xué)家認(rèn)為,解釋語言形式和語法規(guī)則,必須考慮人類的認(rèn)知模式。在以往研究啟發(fā)下,文中嘗試以認(rèn)知語言學(xué)下的圖式理論、范疇化以及認(rèn)知操作為基礎(chǔ),構(gòu)建英語已然類時體范疇的圖式表征連續(xù)統(tǒng)。本文以現(xiàn)在時間為參照點,從四個維度建構(gòu)已然類時體范疇圖式語義...
