牛津高階英語學(xué)習(xí)詞典中同義詞辨析欄的歷時(shí)研究

在英語詞匯中,同義詞占了相當(dāng)大一部分,同義詞辨析是英語學(xué)習(xí)中的一個(gè)重要環(huán)節(jié)。作為英語學(xué)習(xí)中不可或缺的工具,詞典為英語二語學(xué)習(xí)者提供了極大的幫助!杜=蚋唠A英語學(xué)習(xí)者詞典》自1948年出版至今,修訂了九個(gè)版本。當(dāng)前的大部分研究都將該詞典單個(gè)版本的同義詞辨析欄作為研究對(duì)象,缺乏對(duì)它的各個(gè)版本的系統(tǒng)研究。本文將系統(tǒng)分析該詞典幾個(gè)版本中同義詞辨析欄的變化情況及特點(diǎn),并且基于原型理論,輸入假說和語料庫,分析該詞典同義詞辨析欄存在的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和不足。將其優(yōu)點(diǎn)應(yīng)用于國內(nèi)的英漢學(xué)習(xí)型詞典編纂;針對(duì)該詞典存在的不足,本文嘗試在相關(guān)理論以及語料庫的指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行優(yōu)化。首先,本文選取了《牛津高階英語學(xué)習(xí)詞典》的五個(gè)版本進(jìn)行研究,分析同義詞辨析欄在這五個(gè)版本中的演變情況。其次,本文重點(diǎn)研究了該詞典的第七版至第九版這三個(gè)版本。在這三個(gè)版本的同義詞辨析欄中,本文主要從同義詞詞組收錄以及辨析處理形式來進(jìn)行研究。最后結(jié)合原型理論,輸入假說以及語料庫說明了同義詞辨析欄的特點(diǎn)以及存在的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和不足,并根據(jù)中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者用戶的需求,提出相應(yīng)的改進(jìn)意見。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn):1)《牛津高階英語學(xué)習(xí)詞典》直至第四版才增設(shè)“用法說明”,第六版首設(shè)“詞...
