小學新手英語教師自然拼讀法教學觀念和實踐個案研究

自然拼讀法是美國、英國等以英語為母語國家的孩子們學習英語的一種教學方法,適用于學齡前或小學階段的孩子。加之得到許多權威專家的認可,自然拼讀法近幾年來逐漸盛行于國內小學英語課堂。漢語和英語之間存在語言遷移現(xiàn)象。中國孩子在學習第二語言英語時,習慣借助漢語拼音的發(fā)音,而自然拼讀法中的部分字母或字母組合與個別拼音發(fā)音相似或相同,但有些發(fā)音則完全不一樣,對自然拼讀法的教與學造成了一定影響。通過翻閱研究資料發(fā)現(xiàn),大部分的研究關注學習自然拼讀法對中小學學生的詞匯、閱讀等方面的效果,而對英語教師自身的教學觀念和實踐卻缺少相關研究。筆者選擇了公立小學的6名英語新手教師為研究對象,著重探討以下幾個問題:(1)小學英語新手教師對自然拼讀法有哪些看法?(2)小學英語新手教師是怎樣運用自然拼讀法進行教學的?(3)在運用自然拼讀法進行教學時,小學英語新手教師遇到了哪些困難?(4)影響小學英語新手教師運用自然拼讀法進行教學的因素是什么?本文所運用的研究方法是半結構式訪談和非參與式課堂觀察法。研究結果表明老師們主要從自然拼讀法教學本身、教師、學生、教材、課程設置等方面談論自己的觀點,主要觀點如下:(1)新手教師習慣性...
