政治和外交文本往往會(huì)使用大量的隱喻來將抽象的語言具體化,使之變得通俗易懂、更容易為民眾所接受。關(guān)于隱喻使用的研究有助于深入理解政治和外交文本,隱喻翻譯研究對(duì)于提高此類文本的翻譯質(zhì)量,更好地促進(jìn)對(duì)外交流具有重要作用�！读�(xí)近平談治國理政》（一、二卷）收錄了習(xí)近平總書記自2012年11月到2017年9月在國內(nèi)外的演講、談話、賀電等重要內(nèi)容,具有很高的研究價(jià)值。然而,目前仍缺少對(duì)于該套書籍中的隱喻及其翻譯的系統(tǒng)研究。20世紀(jì)80年代,萊考夫和約翰遜提出并闡釋了概念隱喻,將關(guān)于隱喻的研究從修辭方向推向認(rèn)知方向。本文選取《習(xí)近平談治國理政》中的40篇有關(guān)外交和國際關(guān)系的文章進(jìn)行分析,探究習(xí)主席外交場合發(fā)言中的概念隱喻使用及英文譯本中相應(yīng)的翻譯策略。本文從《習(xí)近平談治國理政》的外交章節(jié)中提取出12種隱喻,按共鳴值由大到小依次為:工程隱喻、旅行隱喻、人體隱喻、物體隱喻、植物隱喻、機(jī)械隱喻、水流隱喻、氣象隱喻、家庭隱喻、動(dòng)物隱喻、顏色隱喻和醫(yī)療隱喻。論文首先對(duì)前7種隱喻進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)分析,探究了每類隱喻類型所體現(xiàn)出的思想。然后,作者以物體隱喻為例分析官方譯本中隱喻的翻譯策略,發(fā)現(xiàn)直譯為使用頻率最高的翻譯策略...
