本文是一篇翻譯報告。翻譯原文選自《基因不代表一切:如何使你的基因更適合你》（Genetics Isn’t Everything:How to Make Your’G-e-n-e-s’Fit You）一書中的第一至三章。作者是全球認證的國際健身教練凱瑟琳·S·伊根。長期以來,人們一直認為基因決定了一切,祖輩所患的疾病也必定會遺傳給自己。本書將16位女性與疾病抗?fàn)幍墓适屡c作者的相關(guān)研究相結(jié)合,試圖打破這種傳統(tǒng)認知。目前,中國對于表觀遺傳學(xué)的研究較少,譯者擬通過本次翻譯項目,讓更多的中國讀者認識這門學(xué)科,并重塑健康生活模式。根據(jù)紐馬克的文本類型理論,原文本屬于信息型文本。為了準(zhǔn)確傳遞原文的內(nèi)容,保證譯文本的可讀性,譯者采取了“交際翻譯”這一方法。原文中存在大量專業(yè)術(shù)語、定語從句和排比句。面對這些困難,譯者閱讀了相關(guān)平行文本并采用了不同的翻譯技巧,例如增譯、拆譯、縮譯法等。譯者希望本報告中的一些啟示和總結(jié)可以為同類型的信息類文本翻譯提供一定的參考和幫助。
