本翻譯材料選自美國戰(zhàn)略與國際研究中心智庫,全文約1.4萬英文單詞,作者為納撒尼爾·阿倫斯（Nathaniel Ahrens）和周宇（Zhou Yu）。原文屬于典型的經(jīng)濟(jì)文本,包括聯(lián)想公司崛起的因素、與國際同行競爭的現(xiàn)狀、政府政策對競爭力的影響、與美日間的關(guān)系等等,翻譯起來具有一定難度。筆者運(yùn)用李長栓教授提出的“理解、表達(dá)、取舍”框架來分析本次翻譯實(shí)踐中的案例,探討具體翻譯過程應(yīng)使用的工具和翻譯方法。在文章理解部分,筆者通過查找字典和查閱平行文本來幫助理解原文;在表達(dá)部分,筆者通過調(diào)整語序、巧用成語、化抽象為具體來提高表達(dá)質(zhì)量;同時(shí),筆者在表達(dá)過程中遇到翻譯難點(diǎn)時(shí),采用增譯、減譯、倒置、轉(zhuǎn)換四種方法提高譯文質(zhì)量。通過本次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者受益匪淺。首先,筆者要正確理解原文,這里的正確理解不僅指字面上的意思,還指原文作者對文章所持的立場。同時(shí),筆者也深刻意識到要做好翻譯工作,源語和目的語能力都要過硬。最后,由于中英句式結(jié)構(gòu)極大不同,在英漢翻譯過程中應(yīng)使句式結(jié)構(gòu)符合中國人的閱讀習(xí)慣,避免翻譯腔,希望本報(bào)告為其他同學(xué)撰寫實(shí)踐報(bào)告提供些許參考。
