人類同時存現(xiàn)于物理、心理和社會空間,其中事體總是以長、寬、高為參數(shù)表現(xiàn)為一定的幾何形狀并占據(jù)一定的空間。事體空間位置的錨定在語言系統(tǒng)中用介詞實現(xiàn)。與此同時,表征事體關(guān)系的動詞在時間軸線上的位置的確定也需要介詞來表征。由此可見,介詞是在時空中定位事體和動作最有效的手段之一。沒有介詞,語言中名詞和動詞語義的準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)就會變得十分困難。本文在以往傳統(tǒng)介詞研究的基礎(chǔ)上,以認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的原型范疇和意象圖式理論為框架,以體驗性、隱喻性和多義性為指導(dǎo)思想,嘗試聚焦建構(gòu)英語容器類介詞的語義圖式表征連續(xù)統(tǒng),將無形的位置關(guān)系有形化,使語言學(xué)習(xí)者可以深入洞察介詞所表征的語義與物理、心理和社會世界中事體與行為的對應(yīng)關(guān)系從而實現(xiàn)對介詞的活學(xué)活用。本文理論部分選用原型范疇理論將核心章節(jié)框架進(jìn)行合理設(shè)計。首先研究單個容器介詞的原型義,根據(jù)突顯性和相似性應(yīng)用轉(zhuǎn)喻和隱喻理論將原型義向空間域和非空間域分別映射形成空間和非空間延展意義,最后形成以原型義為中心的語義網(wǎng)絡(luò)。依次建構(gòu)介詞INTO,IN,OUT OF,THROUGH的單個語義網(wǎng)絡(luò)后,根據(jù)容器介詞相互之間的聯(lián)系構(gòu)建英語容器介詞語義圖式表征連續(xù)統(tǒng)。并且整個研究過程中都結(jié)合...
