隨著人工智能在世界范圍內的迅速普及,知識的獲取和傳遞發(fā)生了重要的變化。由歐盟聯合研究中心撰寫的政策科學報告《人工智能對學習、教學和教育的影響及其對未來政策的挑戰(zhàn)》描述了人工智能的最新發(fā)展和對學習、教學和教育的潛在影響,以及應對人工智能所創(chuàng)造的機遇和挑戰(zhàn)的前瞻性活動。鑒于該報告尚無翻譯,筆者節(jié)選報告主體部分第2章至第4章的內容,旨在提高自身翻譯能力,傳播人工智能發(fā)展的最新知識,同時為科技文本的翻譯提供一定的借鑒。源文本涉及大量人工智能領域相關知識,因此需要考慮讀者的知識文化背景,增加對源文本的理解。為了實現語言交際功能,本文以功能主義翻譯目的論為指導,根據翻譯的特定目的以及讀者的閱讀需求,對翻譯難點進行探討并提供解決方案。翻譯過程中主要存在科技術語、半科技術語、縮略語、復雜句、被動句等翻譯難點,譯者從詞匯、句法、語篇三個層面進行分析,并運用合適的翻譯策略和方法解決翻譯難點。本翻譯實踐報告主要有以下三點發(fā)現:第一,科技文本常常包含大量科技術語、半科技詞匯和縮略語,譯者使用直譯、加注等方法再現原文意義;第二,在翻譯被動句、復雜句時,譯者運用轉換法、拆分法等手段增強句子可讀性;第三,譯者運用省...
