科普視聽作品是科普類文本與視聽作品相結(jié)合的產(chǎn)物。作為視聽作品的主要形式,目前視頻節(jié)目正日漸變得更受歡迎。同樣地,作為科普視聽作品的主要形式,科普視頻也日漸成為大眾科學(xué)普及的重要途徑。隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)的發(fā)展,國際科學(xué)、科普交往更為密切,越來越多的海外科普視聽作品被字幕組翻譯成中文。雖然這類譯作的數(shù)量逐年穩(wěn)步上升,但其翻譯質(zhì)量并不能令人滿意。由于對(duì)視聽作品的字幕翻譯研究多集中于影視娛樂領(lǐng)域,科普字幕翻譯理論和實(shí)踐發(fā)展仍然處于初期階段。因此,有必要對(duì)科普字幕翻譯進(jìn)行更深入的研究。Exurb1a是海外視頻分享網(wǎng)站上的一個(gè)著名的科普節(jié)目。筆者從該節(jié)目中選取了六個(gè)科普視頻作為本翻譯項(xiàng)目的原材料,其內(nèi)容涉及物理學(xué)、生物學(xué)等。選取的作品內(nèi)容相對(duì)簡單而不失專業(yè)性,風(fēng)格詼諧幽默,較能代表科普視聽作品的特點(diǎn)。本文以關(guān)聯(lián)理論為理論基礎(chǔ),從認(rèn)知處理努力和語境效果上對(duì)筆者的Exurb1a節(jié)目英漢字幕翻譯實(shí)踐進(jìn)行研究。論文首先描述了翻譯實(shí)踐的譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯過程和譯后工作,其中重點(diǎn)分析了科普視聽作品的特點(diǎn)和對(duì)科普字幕翻譯的要求。隨后介紹了 Gutt等人的關(guān)聯(lián)理論,著重介紹了其中的重要概念如明示—推理過程和語境。論文主體部分以...
