廣東外語(yǔ)外貿(mào)大學(xué)MTI英語(yǔ)口譯學(xué)生就業(yè)調(diào)研報(bào)告

隨著全球化不斷深入,各國(guó)交往日趨頻繁,語(yǔ)言服務(wù)行業(yè)迎來(lái)了前所未有的繁榮,同時(shí)也對(duì)優(yōu)秀的翻譯人才產(chǎn)生了巨大的需求。為滿(mǎn)足這一需求,2007年,國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)批準(zhǔn)設(shè)立“翻譯碩士”(MTI)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)位,目前,已有253所大學(xué)開(kāi)設(shè)MTI專(zhuān)業(yè)碩士學(xué)位,每年為市場(chǎng)提供著大量的翻譯人才。然而,縱觀翻譯市場(chǎng),高質(zhì)量的口譯員依然并不多見(jiàn),眾多MTI口譯學(xué)生畢業(yè)后轉(zhuǎn)而從事其他行業(yè)。許多MTI口譯學(xué)員在入學(xué)前都對(duì)口譯職業(yè)懷著美好的憧憬,畢業(yè)后卻無(wú)法順利從事口譯相關(guān)職業(yè),只能退而求其次從事其他職業(yè),導(dǎo)致所學(xué)的知識(shí)與技能架空,就業(yè)預(yù)期與實(shí)際就業(yè)情況相差甚遠(yuǎn)。鑒于當(dāng)前較為嚴(yán)峻的就業(yè)形勢(shì),MTI口譯專(zhuān)業(yè)畢業(yè)生真實(shí)的就業(yè)情況值得我們關(guān)注。廣東外語(yǔ)外貿(mào)大學(xué)是全國(guó)首批開(kāi)設(shè)翻譯碩士專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)位的高校之一,同時(shí)也是全國(guó)第一所建立了本科、本科雙學(xué)位、碩士、專(zhuān)業(yè)碩士和博士完整翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)體系的單位。本文以廣東外語(yǔ)外貿(mào)大學(xué)為例,對(duì)其MTI英語(yǔ)口譯專(zhuān)業(yè)在校生和畢業(yè)生展開(kāi)調(diào)查,以問(wèn)卷為調(diào)查手段,調(diào)查涉及MTI口譯在校生和畢業(yè)生的就業(yè)預(yù)期/情況,職業(yè)選擇動(dòng)機(jī),以及口譯專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生面臨潛在就業(yè)困難和克服這些困難所需要采取對(duì)策等內(nèi)容。本次調(diào)查旨...
