多模態(tài)輸入對同傳表現(xiàn)的影響

同聲傳譯本質(zhì)上是一個多模態(tài)溝通現(xiàn)象。大量多模態(tài)信息的處理加劇了同傳的復雜性。在口譯研究中,聽覺輸入一直以來占據(jù)統(tǒng)治地位,被認為是同傳中最主要的信息來源和輸入。研究者對于聽覺輸入的許多相關變量,如語速,口音等,都進行了深入而系統(tǒng)的研究。然而,視覺符號資源在口譯研究中一直乏人問津,直到近年來口譯研究者才將目光轉向口譯中的視覺輸入,包括文字,圖片,講話人的身體語言等等。這方面的研究方興未艾,具有很大的研究潛力。本論文聚焦于口譯中的視覺文字輸入,探究其對口譯產(chǎn)品準確性和口譯員工作效率的影響,以及其在同聲傳譯中所扮演的角色。有一系列認知研究表明一致的視聽信息能提高溝通型任務的準確性,但是同時會延長任務處理時間,損害效率,因為大腦無法完全同時處理視聽信息,所以額外的時間需用于處理視覺信息。而效率對同聲傳譯任務順利完成來說至關重要。實驗結果顯示一致的視聽信息能提高同傳產(chǎn)出的準確性,但并不會延長信息處理時間,降低譯員的工作效率。本文從兩個理論角度來解釋該實驗結果:單一資源理論和多重資源理論。前者認為所有認知任務都依賴于同一個認知資源池,同時競爭有限的認知資源;而后者假定視覺和聽覺任務分別依賴于不同的認...
