本翻譯項(xiàng)目原文節(jié)選自大衛(wèi)·比塞爾（David Bissell）的《旅途生活:通勤如何改變城市生活》（Transit Life:How Commuting Is Transforming Our Cities）。該書(shū)較為系統(tǒng)地向讀者展示了通勤的各個(gè)方面,是關(guān)于通勤的重要著作。原文探討通勤者如何管理時(shí)間,并講述超級(jí)通勤者經(jīng)歷的考驗(yàn)與坎坷。雖然關(guān)于通勤的英文書(shū)籍較多,但中譯本較少。本報(bào)告分為五章。第一章介紹翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景、意義以及本報(bào)告的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章對(duì)原文的作者及主要內(nèi)容進(jìn)行介紹,并分析原文文本類(lèi)型和語(yǔ)言特征。第三章闡述本報(bào)告的理論指導(dǎo)——目的論,此部分包括目的論概述、目的論三原則以及選擇目的論作為理論指導(dǎo)的緣由。第四章在目的論的指導(dǎo)下,從詞匯和句法兩個(gè)層面對(duì)翻譯難點(diǎn)進(jìn)行分析,并提出相應(yīng)的解決方法。為解決翻譯難點(diǎn),譯者主要運(yùn)用了意譯的翻譯方法以及增譯、語(yǔ)態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)換、拆分等翻譯技巧。最后一章總結(jié)從翻譯過(guò)程中得到的啟示并指出翻譯項(xiàng)目的不足之處。
