自從中國(guó)2001年加入世界貿(mào)易組織之后,中國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)地位和政治地位得到了顯著的提高,同時(shí)也讓中國(guó)與世界實(shí)現(xiàn)了共贏。2018年6月28日,在西方國(guó)家指責(zé)中國(guó)進(jìn)行“經(jīng)濟(jì)侵略”的背景下,中國(guó)發(fā)布了《中國(guó)與世界貿(mào)易組織》白皮書(shū),意在用事實(shí)與數(shù)據(jù)為自己正名。白皮書(shū)作為官方的政治文本,其英譯策略對(duì)于展現(xiàn)我國(guó)國(guó)際形象,宣傳我國(guó)的方針政策具有重要作用,因此值得深入探討與研究。本文以克里斯蒂安·諾德的功能主義理論為理論基礎(chǔ),分析《中國(guó)與世界貿(mào)易組織》的英譯策略。在詞匯層面,本文分析了白皮書(shū)中的中國(guó)特色詞匯、高頻搭配詞及四字成語(yǔ)的翻譯策略,發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者在詞匯層面多采用直譯、意譯、省譯與轉(zhuǎn)譯的方法。在句法方面,本文分析了無(wú)主句及長(zhǎng)難句中應(yīng)用的翻譯策略。在翻譯無(wú)主句時(shí),譯者多采用非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞作主語(yǔ)、增添主語(yǔ)和使用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)等方法;在翻譯長(zhǎng)難句時(shí),譯者多采用分譯、增譯、轉(zhuǎn)換法和順譯法。此外,本文還分析了原文中出現(xiàn)的隱喻、明喻、反復(fù)、排比等修辭手段在譯本中的翻譯策略,發(fā)現(xiàn)根據(jù)不同的修辭方法,譯者采取了直譯、意譯以及省譯的方法。譯者運(yùn)用多種翻譯策略,力求譯文簡(jiǎn)潔準(zhǔn)確,確保譯本的可讀性和準(zhǔn)確性,這些翻譯策略對(duì)于今后白皮書(shū)的英譯...
