倒裝句是英語中普遍存在的一種語言現(xiàn)象。這種語言現(xiàn)象吸引了許多研究者和學者的注意,他們對此語言現(xiàn)象從語言學的不同角度進行研究其中包括語用功能,修辭功能等等。近年來,一些學者則從認知語言學的角度進行了研究,旨在探索語言和人類心智之間的關(guān)系。他們主要采用的認知理論是圖形背景理論或者稱為射體界標理論。他們的研究取得了許多卓越的成就,在很大程度上推動了理論本身的進步及其在語言分析中的實際應(yīng)用。然而,大多數(shù)研究僅局限于描述性的研究即語言中的那個語言成分是圖形哪個是背景,涉及解釋性的研究不多,即解釋影響圖形和背景的選擇和組織模式的因素涉及不多。而且對于方位倒裝句的生成機制的研究也不多而且研究的深度及廣度都具有局限性。此外,并未完全深入挖掘影響認知機制運作的因素。本研究以英語倒裝句中的空間方位倒裝句為研究對象,從圖形背景理論的角度通過對空間倒裝句和非倒裝句的對比研究以揭示英語空間方位倒裝句的認知機制以及影響和操縱其運作的影響因素。通過分析我們得出以下結(jié)論:空間方位倒裝句的認知機制主要包括三個認知過程:前后意象圖式,語法配價過程和主觀化。從與客觀世界的感知互動到前后意象圖式的形成再到語法配價的完成,這是...
