基于語料庫的英語近義詞對(duì)比研究 ——以specially,especially,particularly為例

詞匯研究一直是語言研究的重點(diǎn)。沒有詞匯,人們就無法表達(dá)任何事物。英語詞匯很復(fù)雜,尤其值得注意的是,英語中有很多近義詞。合理選擇和運(yùn)用近義詞,可以使表達(dá)更加準(zhǔn)確生動(dòng),提高語言的有效性和表達(dá)能力。基于語料庫提供的大量真實(shí)自然的語言使用實(shí)例,探究中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者與英語本族語者對(duì)于近義詞的使用差異,可以更好地為二語詞匯教學(xué)提供幫助。本研究選取了英國國家語料庫(BNC)和中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者語料庫(CLEC)。采用基于語料庫的中介語對(duì)比分析方法。借助WordNet、AntConc 3.5.8、BFSU Collocator 1.0、Sketch Engine和卡方計(jì)算器等工具,對(duì)近義詞specially,especially和particularly進(jìn)行研究。本研究分別在CLEC和BNC中檢索這組近義詞,并分析它們?cè)陬l率、搭配和語義韻方面的相似點(diǎn)和差異。本研究還從上述三個(gè)維度比較了不同等級(jí)的中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者對(duì)這組近義詞的使用。本研究的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)如下:1.與英語本族語者相比,在使用頻數(shù)上,中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者傾向于過度使用especially,而particularly使用不足。specially的使用頻率無顯著性...
