本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告所依據(jù)的源文本是Fictional Authors,Imaginary Audiences:Modern Chinese Literature in the Twentieth Century（《虛構(gòu)的作者與想象的讀者——二十世紀(jì)中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)》）一書中第一部分的第二節(jié)。原文介紹了中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)的基本情況,也介紹了西方國家評(píng)論家和西方學(xué)者在形成中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中所起的作用。根據(jù)彼特·紐馬克（Peter Newmark）（1916-2011）對(duì)文本的分類,該文本屬于議論型文本。因此,筆者在翻譯時(shí)以弗米爾（Hans.J.Vermeer）（1930—2010）的目的論（skopos theory）為指導(dǎo),采用了歸化的翻譯策略和意譯的翻譯方法,以期使譯文達(dá)到最佳交際效果。
